Also I fear some people like me saw this because they are using their own controller in Home Assistant (like me) Your product seems nice and I love Poland! Been a few times on business and I would probably use this controller of your in a new construction home. Now that said this is a great thing for USA electricians to just watch. A real nice installation would require coordination with carpenters etc. I think much of the LED market is after construction so everyone looks for ways to hide wires. So along with the other comments, if you want me to but your controller and install it myself then even a install demo of one staircase might be enough. Right now I can’t see individual tread lights as compared to rail of LEDs in a diffuser channel as something I can do. If I was married, never!
This would have been way more useful if you had shown the installation on a "real" staircase, as apposed to a workbench. For example, it would have been nice to see how you concealed all the wires, and where you installed the main controller, so it wasn't visible, with nearly to two dozen wires. This is a good idea in principle, but in practice if you don't want to see wires, is a far bigger job than simply attaching an aluminum strip to the underside of a stair, and being able to count to 21!

The system works with two motion sensors. One at the bottom and one at the top of the stairs. When either sensor is triggered, the controller starts the sequence from that direction. You can set the speed, duration and brightness on the controller (speed: how quickly the lights turn on, duration: how long all the lights stay on, before fading out together). If both sensors are triggered, the sequence starts from both direction.

Your single "+" wire going into the controller should be a higher gauge wire, and all your wires on the controller side should have terminal crimps on them

can be funny , already made stair sensitive , but fo sure not all the steps independent . cost a lot of outputs on a driver , so you have to choose to get low power per output . will keep in mind on my next led driver design ....

In the current version, the motion sensors are only at the top and bottom of the stairs, so the controller won't sense if someone remains on the stairs. The duration can be set for longer, so the lights stay on longer by default, if that's a likely scenario.

@@clintmurdock119 that would work well for 1 person but if a second person approaches from the other end then the lights would turn off and they would both be in the dark. Personally I always wait for the other person to finish first but if someone didn't the result would be bad. The company might get sued for an accident or something. It's too risky. You would need to have 2 sensors at each end to detect the direction someone was going in or out and it just makes everything more complicated and expensive.

The same way as any other recessed light's cables would be hidden, but methods depend on the layout of the stairs. They can be hidden behind the skirt board, in a recess in the wall, under the stairs, for floating stairs or in cable channels.
