Very honest review. This is a pro review. Things that were great were marked great. If it was shit it was noted as a far cry from the best he's had. I'll follow and like your reviews.
Thank you for this video, watching now. Looks expensive but different. Lived here in Vegas for 55 years now and its Amazing to see how the city has grown. Keep the great videos coming.
Nice review! Appreciated your critical comments and things to watch out for. Prices seem reasonable, given average cut of beef at the grocery now is ~$14/lb here in Vegas. And you get all the fresh seafood and other items included with excellent service. Anything on the strip would be 2-3x the price for less. 888 Japanese (~$40) or most AYCE sushi places like Neko ($30) give you good value as well for those more cost conscious.
We went there couple of weeks ago and we enjoyed it. Didn't feel rush or anything but maybe because we went there when it just opened. Have you try Mikiya hot pot which is own by the same people?
A couple of Friends of Frankly who dined with us at Chubby Cattle BBQ have tried Mikiya, and prefer it over Chubby Cattle BBQ. It’s on our short list to try soon.
Full blood or not, we don't even have anything close to this restaurant serving wagyu for all you can eat in the Washington DC area. We have the chain Gyu Kaku that only serve USDA Choice meat for $60 to $90. All their wagyu are a la carte. Be grateful to what you all got there!
Oh, we're absolutely grateful for what we have here, and for the opportunity to sample & review, and provide our findings to anyone interested. Sounds like you're due for a trip out here! :)
@franklyvegas Was actually referring to the folks who commented that they had better. Like geez, there are many others of us in other parts of the country that have nothing lol. I realized your effort of paying out of pocket to dine and the time to produce the videos. Thank you.
25:35 I went to the one in Chicago and it was disappointing. First of all the wait is super long, it took us 30 min to get on the waiting list and it said it would be an additional 15-30 min but we ended up waiting another 2 hours. If I knew the real wait time we would have gone to another restaurant. When ordering on the ipad, some of our orders didn't make it to the kitchen and we would have to reorder it, wasted so much time because you only get 90 minutes. The food was okay, Korean bbq is way better for the price. We were going to get the membership but after everything we went through the family said that they didn't need to ever go back. Charging full price for little kids is not worth it. Next time I'll buy A5 Wagu at Costco and have some time left in the day.
So sad that people believe they can sell A5 Wagyu at all you can eat BBQ. I even saw one All you can eat BBQ advertise All you can eat KOBE Beef. Do some research please. Just proves most people just believe what's advertised. Would love to see RUclips that takes samples of meet from restaurant and prove the meat is not what the restaurant advertised.
@@mouse7234 maps.app.goo.gl/aTuvFcM6PtjziBFw6 and they offer Kobe. We've heard that sister restaurant Mikiya is a better experience providing Wagyu ( maps.app.goo.gl/pjff6U4pNGoAymZC7 ) but we haven't tried it yet.

Our pleasure! 55 years in Vegas? You must have your fair share of stories. Stay cool this weekend!

How fast do they replenish the Meats?
Hate some of the AYCE cuz after awhile, they ignored our Table cuz we eat into their Profits!!
✌✌
They're quite prompt at coming out with requests for more meat.
i love your honest review. i think i wont be going to that place.
Have you been to Chubby Cattle AYCE Japanese BBQ in Las Vegas?
Great detail.
Thanks for watching!

@sinbatsiraseranant1241 It's certainly fascinating witnessing a cross-section of experiences here. Hope you’re keeping cool in DC!

A5 Wagyu from Costco is where it’s at! Especially when it’s from Miyazaki!
I think I will stick with 8oz … never had a bad experience, felt rushed
And it’s just on the other side of the building

This makes me wonder if there’s a floor to the threshold of what’s legally considered Wagyu or Kobe and how that tastes.
I don’t think I would try this restaurant. There’s another Japanese Barbecue restaurant that is way better & less expensive.
I think I know which one you’re talking about.
Name?!
@@franklyvegas- looking to visit soon and would love to know what you consider is better or the best please! Thanks

Japanese concept with chinese owners? 🤣
Not worth it. Kids over 4 feet is full price!!!!!!!! Ridiculous.
Sorry to hear that.
