Hi, I would really like to know how the Vongo compares to the 860 in term of stability?

Hey Josh - running for the Nike half marathon and so training up for it (not much long left to go and I've left it a little late) X Vongo V6, Puma Magnify Nitro 2, Saucony Triumph 21 - any comments on these? They all felt very comfortably cushioned on my foot so it was quite hard to choose between them all - honestly couldn't decide in-store (if anything I was going to for the Triumph 20 because they seemed exactly like the T21 except almost half price, but honestly price isn't an issue, just want something that's going to get me through it). Thank you!

Is the fit a bit wider than the v5? Those were very narrow at the midfoot and a bit narrow for part of the forefoot

Marginally wider in the midfoot and similar width in the forefoot. With the change in lace coverage the V5 had more wriggle room, but I think the V6 feels deeper with more support around the width. Better balance.

What is the colorway on the right? Do you know if that will be available in the US?

very tempted to see how soft v6 ride, but on my shoe rack i do have glycerin stealthfit21(none gts i dont like rails cause blisters) smooth and poppy ride and its light. my asics GT2000/12 or K29 shoes are reserved for warm weather, asics midsoles dont like the cold at all and the K30 are for walking only.

Thanks for comment and feedback. Have you found the stealth fit (Glycerin 21) to work in cold climate with their nitrogen infused foam underfoot.?

its consistent towards zero temp, asics suffers colder it gets for ffBlast and Blast+ or Blast eco not so for Turbo. @@SportitudeAus

With the plastic plate, do you think it’ll provide better leg recovery after a longer run, or perhaps marathon? Also, I didn’t hear you mention the price of when it’ll be available. Thanks Josh!

      Hi Joe,
Thanks again for watching another review on our chanel. Shoe is AUD $269.99 & USD $164.99
They should be available now in most regions around the globe? Might be some potential delays?? But we did receive ours in Australia 2 weeks early. And if any region is going to be delayed it is normally Australia...
The plate does offer a little more stiffness in the forefoot. However it gies the midsole a little more integrity. Would you pull up any better? Depends on a few factors. But comparing the 1080v13 and the Vongo V6, I prefer Vongo. Its just nicer on easier days and ride is smooth and recover better.
Im currently rolling in the Stratus v 3 for easy clicks from On-Running.... That is shoe that I will be reviewing shortly. One of the big surprise packets of the year for me.
      Thanks for watching.
      Josh

How is the ride versus the 1080 v13 ?

    • @SportitudeAus
      @SportitudeAus  11 месяцев назад +1

GREAT QUESTION! I have been discussing this with the team today. I personally like the roll in the Vongo. Smoother transition.... However at the same time 1080v13 is soo good.... But its a recovery day shoe only for me. With Vongo... Its long day and recovery day.
However, Nathan (one of our runners and team members) prefers the feel of 1080v13. Mainly due to the fact its lighter. Thats very important to him, where I take the transitional smoothness over weight, especially considering the Vongo is not heavy in relative terms.

Hi Ryan, Apologies for the delay. We have them up for sale now in Australia. Where is home for you (Country)? There might be different launch dates around the globe in this shoe? I can potentially find out when your Vongo's will be available. Regards, Josh
