My understanding is that line of eva film which so resembles a plate, and the slightly firmer tuned foam beneath it, constitute the main stability system. Nothing wrong with that. It beats some of the old stability tactics, where they might just cram a rock hard chunk of plastic into the medial edge, and call it a stable day. However, I think it's fair to debate whether that faux-plate is partly emphasized to confer "highly modern plated technology" credibility onto an essentially simpler approach.
Great video for comparision on these shoes. I've Been a vongo 5 wearer and doing a gait analysis and given this shoe you can feel the difference underfoot. in my opinion for the worse. Vongo 5 for the win for me.

I choose the kayano 30. I prefer the rocker and it is incredibly plush and comfortable.

I’ve got it for about 3 months now and I feel that the rubber sole isn’t grippy enough. Anybody else here feels the same? Thanks
