    please help, my depth pass is completely white and changing the black and white values with exposure or equalize histogram does nothing! no one seems to have a solution for me.

    For some reason my photoshop couldn't get the exposure right. I had to use darkroom and set it automatically

    my depth pass is empty even when lowering the exposure. its flat, no depth. what am i doing wrong?

      I think you need to add a "Backdrop ramp". When I don't use backdrop ramp, for me comes flat too.
      So please go to EDIT / ADD GEOMETRY / BACKDROP RAMP and do the process again. I believe it will fix the issue.

      @@ifeotto No idea why, all I do is to make a backdrop ramp and in render menu I select the depth option. Then when I import the depth file to Photoshop and move the exposure down, it shows the depth perfect.
