- In this weeks video I go over exactly how I passed the NASM-CPT on 6-21-2021
I also detail everything I did wrong which lead me to fail the exam two consecutive times. I truly believe that if I could past this test that anyone could and if your anything like me this new approach can save you a lot of time, energy, and spare you the headache of memorizing useless details.

I passed this week on 1st try and to be honest I barley even studied, but I did pray before the exam wich really think is the only reason I passed 1🙏
Congratulations
Congratz!!!
Same Here
Just failed my exam on my first attempt and I’m so fuckin bummed. Thanks for the video man, I’m gonna follow this route so I’m ready next time
I’m sorry to hear that, imagine how I felt failing two times in a row. Try my approach and I’m sure you’ll do fine
Gezus V the best fitness coach in NYC hands down!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This video is SUPER helpful! I missed my exam back in December and I am preparing for the second attemp. I was not even aware of the resource you just show on the NASM website. Thank you so much!!!
I’m glad it was helpful I remember how I felt failing two times in a row and I knew I had to show people there was another way
@@GezusV Thanks to your advice and your shared experience I was able to passed it and I am officially a CPT! I recommend your video to everyone looking to become a NASM CPT. Thank you so so much again Gezus!!!
@@danacha5371 aww that's amazing congratulations. There's nothing like working in a field you're passionate about. Thank you for recommending my video it means a lot and please consider subscribing I have a lot of great content on the way.
Good for you. Glad you are well!
Thank you appreciate you 🥰
Im in worse than you ever were. I got a 48 in my first attempt. I'm going to try to learn from my mistakes though. Study the OPT Model, overhead squat. I didn't even know what Hypertension was. I was devastated, I knew I was going to fail before I took the exam but I actually did worse than I anticipated.
This is extremely helpful, thank you!!! I took my exam yesterday and got a 68 :( hoping to pass on my second attempt with this useful info!!!
Girl same I got a 68 yesterday after passing the practice exam 6 times in row
This was amazing brother , thank you 🙏🏽
I’m glad my experience was able to help others
Much love bro thank you
Absolutely I just hoped this helped people serious about training
Thank you 🙏🏼 it’s super super help .
Glad my experience was helpful!!
Passing the NASM IS AFFIRMATIONS on deck!! 🔥 🔥🔥
You’re the second person who said study the domains and take the practice test a bunch
It really worked for me 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This would’ve been an amazing video without the music. 🙃
Thank you was the music overkill or was the video good enough without it 😁
I wish I purchased the guided study, I only purchased the self study, so I don’t see that content in my selection 😢
Damn that sucks I mean essentially it’s still the same info. You just don’t get the practice exams and have more information to go through. Also reference the back of the book I think they have summary’s on the most important information for each chapter
Failed twice myself, 64 then a 59. Trying to study again.
I know the feeling & it sucks but if Fitness is truly your passion, DO NOT SETTLE for one of these crack in the box certifications and try my method it really works
@@GezusV appreciate how you break it down. I looked on the account login last light, unable to find study guide/ practice test. I just have the course and it begins the lesson. And review is brief unless I’m clicking in wrong section, but was following instructions
@@moneauxje you might have to call NASM to reactivate your study guide it’s worth it
I took my exam today and failed. I hate that I wasted all my time with my nose in that book. Now I have to fork up $200 to retake this exam within the next month because they’re moving into their next series. I passed my practice exams but Now I know to just use those practice exams.
As long as you truly understand the concepts like Reciprocal Inhibition vs Synergistic dominance, the chambers of the heart, the OHSA, and the other under vs over active muscles for all the other assessments, you will pass. thanks for your feed back if you want to talk more find me on IG @Callmemrv. I hope my video helped in some way if so pls consider subscribing.
@@GezusV actually those were the easy parts of the test! There was so much random stuff I guess I didn’t either pay attention to or cover 🥲
@@AmberKuunani yeah they do find a unique way to ask questions that try to throw you off. I know you’ll pass the next time 100%
Interesting, I took the PES test without reading the book and passed the first time... I am also a PhD candidate in exercise physiology but i would still expect their advanced exams to be harder than that
Congratulations, I’m sure your an intelligent person 💪🏽
Did anyone read all of the materials in the chapter sections ? I just started 5 and it’s taking SO long 😭
I hope not because it’s very dense
@@GezusV SO dense

What did they charge you to retest for the 2nd and 3rd time?
I just did my first attempt yesterday and got a 68. I called and the retake is $199
@@jocelyngaribay2398 you did well for failing, I got a 48, I’m a failure
@@jocelyngaribay2398 Yeah it’s fucking bullshit, half of the information is absolutely useless, just scientific literature, that won’t help being a personal trainer at all
