I have to add that you do an amazing job with your design and your knitting with your children and household responsibilities. You're doing just fine. Life is long. Enjoy it, and love yourself!
Beautiful shawl! and a reminder that listening to /hearing river and birds is not considered 'noise'.:) They are awesome ambience. As are children playing! Keep up the good work!
OMG....where do I begin 🤔 WoW you should be extremely proud of everything that you have achieved....from design....knitting....filming....and presentation!!!! It was such a joy to watch....I particularly loved hearing your kids playing in the background and I'm sure they worry you more than us. It's great hearing kids having fun 😀 Thank you so much for your talent and for sharing it with us. I'm truly in awe of all that you achieve in such a short time as well as raising your four kids. Much love to you and yours xOXo ❤️
Hi Jessica, loved and enjoyed your beginning-to-end design vlog. I found myself sharing in your joy of the finished project. and smiling at you smiling . It was lovely to see you so pleased with the finished result. Yes stop comparing yourself with others. No good outcome can come of it. I loved hearing all the different background sounds. A ward sister used to say noisy kids are happy kids! Keep doing what you're doing - all is fine, if not great! Kind wishes Lynn Albany Western Australia
It was great watching the progression of this scarf. It's lovely! I love the motifs.. And, the enclosed edge looks really cool. I love that it's small enough to wrap around the neck, but still big enough to drape over the shoulders (a must, for me, as I like them for when I'm at work).
Loved watching the shawl journey. It looks so gorgeous. As is was a segment vlog it gave me time as you talk to think about the modifications I will make when I purchase this great shawl pattern.
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this! Your snowy shawl is my #1 favorite pattern of the year and having already knit it, it is so neat to go back and watch your process and compare it to how the shawl turned out. It's like a behind-the-scenes and also a peak into a designing mind. It's fantastic. Also, I have to say, I agree with you about floats - at least for me, I've decided not to catch them anymore, for the most part. Unless I'm worried I'm going to have tension issues, I find that it sometimes can show through the front of the fabric and make a pucker where I wouldn't have had a problem otherwise. You've given me permission! :) I love how when you finished it, even before blocking, you just clearly can't stop smiling 😁😁❤
Hi, I watched your video while I was knitting. Loved the laughter (and screams) of Jimmy and his brother and sisters in the background! This is my first colorwork and steeking project. When I printed the pattern out, the printer (color) was off and the photo of Jessica wearing the Snowy Shawl came out to be a light teal (where the grey is) and a dark grey-green (forest green). I liked how it looked, so that is how I'm making mine. I'm worried about my steek stitches, they look so different than yours. I just hope that by the time I get to the reinforce the stitches, it will be clear to where I cut. I'll try to email you a picture of my final Snowy Shawl.
Beautiful! I love the format of this vlog. It would be great to see your design process on future projects in this way. I used to live in the town of Rigby, halfway between Rexburg and Idaho Falls. The scenery is similar. Filming outdoors made this that much more enjoyable. Thanks for doing this. I love the grey and green as well. Now that I am older and no longer a redhead I look better in blue. But you sure have me wanting to make this shawl and in this color combination. I am actually making your Eirene cowl in a denim blue with light gray as the contrast. Using up left overs from a sweater made years ago. I think I may have enough to make a hat too.
Are you on revelry? Do you sell your patterns there? I’ve never done color work before. I really love the Christmas tree mittens! I’m thinking I might love that one for my first mittens pattern.

Огромное спасибо Вам за такое прекрасное видео. Увидела ваш проект на девушке у одного Ирландского блогера. И влюбилась в этот орнамент.

Beautiful designs! I’m not a shawl person either but this looks interesting.
