At an ABT event in Chicago in the early 2000's I was in the playing area early. There were maybe a dozen people in the room. Carol walks in and immediately a line forms to get a hug from her. Many thanks Carol for all you have done for the backgammon world!

Carol is such a sweet lady, she reminds me of my 2nd grade teacher, always kind and welcoming.
