In the same vein, abolition was an "existential threat" to slavers' interests, the Haitian revolution was an "existential threat" to French interests, Indian independence was an "existential threat" to British interests, the end of the brutal rubber slavery and hand-chopping monstrosities of the Belgian Congo was an "existential threat" to the Belgian interests, and so on, so forth. Maybe it's time that the genuine interests of the local indigenous peoples started mattering more than the interests of western thieves, genocidaires, squatters, and liars?

      Where are the facts?
      By Stephen Lendman
In January 2017, House and Senate Intelligence Committee members began investigating whether Russia interfered in the US 2016 presidential election.
House Intelligence Committee head of its probe into alleged Russian US election meddling Michael Conaway said his panel “found no evidence (of Kremlin) collusion, coordination or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians,” adding:
At most his panel found possible examples of “bad judgement, inappropriate meetings, and inappropriate judgment at taking meetings” - nothing else, no Russian meddling, no illegal or improper behavior.
At the time, House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes issued a statement, saying:
“After more than a year, the committee has finished its Russia investigation and will now work on completing our report.”
“We’re dealing in facts, and we found no evidence of collusion.”
Special counsel Mueller’s witch-hunt Russia gate probe has been ongoing since May 2017 - reporting not a whiff of illegal or improper Trump team/Russia connections, no Russian interference in America’s electoral process - NOTHING!
In January 2017, the US intelligence community accused Russia of US election meddling, no proof presented backing the charge because none exists.
Last October, 2016, Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Richard Burr expressed high confidence in the intelligence community’s assessment of Russian interference - admitting his committee found no evidence proving it after nine months of investigation.
The Nation summed it up perfectly in this brief paragraph:
“There was no hack of the Democratic National Committee’s system on July 5 last year-not by the Russians, not by anyone else. Hard science now demonstrates it was a leak-a download executed locally with a memory key or a similarly portable data-storage device. In short, it was an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system.” (“A New Report Raises Big Questions About Last Year’s DNC Hack”, Patrick Lawrence, The Nation)
      Bingo.
Bottom line: A dedicated group of independent researchers and former Intel agents joined forces and produced the first hard evidence that “the official narrative implicating Russia” is wrong. This is a stunning development that will, in time, cut through the fog of government propaganda and reveal the truth. Skip Folden’s report is an important contribution to that same effort.

I am from Honduras and I know very well what's going on in Honduras and how it is related to the US and how the US plays its politics in Honduras.
I know the elite group that's an accomplice of the US and you don't mentioned any of that.
LIBRE, the politic party in power now will not be done until it kicks out the Palmerola base in Honduras.
Is a party formed with different people, with nationalism ideas (which is great) and the most important, it is a party formed formed by politicians and followers who broke away from the liberal party in power when the US -sponsored coup from 2009.
Followers and politicians of ousted president Mel Zelaya followed him and he created the frente nacional de resistencia popular FNRP (National front of popular resistance) which evolved in to the political party known now as LIBRE (libertad y refundacion = freedom and refoundation) the name of the party says it very clear freedom... and Mel Zelaya who is ruling the party (the head) won't rest until he achieved what he wanted to do in 2009.
Other factor that is not mentioned or not known is that in the year prior to the coup president Zelaya was researching for oil deposits in the Honduran Atlantic costal waters and he said there were strong hopes that oild would be found.
A year after that, he was ousted with the excuse of being communist, socialist, pro Chavez etc...
But there is a history in my country that says that every time a new source of wealth is discovered, internal politics forces manipulated by foreign governments and big corporations (from the US), to seize control of it, creates the fight between US, because there is a group that is always willing to give it to the big corporations in exchange of just money (bribery) for their package, and there is another group which for not being the majority doesn't get their share, or wants the wealth to be exploited and controlled by the government (meaning the people).
And that the Achilles heel that big corporations take advantage from to achieve the control of that wealthness.
Similar happened with the discovery of a gold mine, and the fertility of the soil for the banana production.
They even puts to fight with Guatemala and even made us loose territory to Guatemala.
And since the US supported and practically promoted the coup, former ousted president Zelaya us seeking revenge from the US and I am sure one of its goals will be to get out of Honduras the Palmerola base, which it was installed without consulting the people, and just to attack our neighbors like El Salvador in its civil war which lasted 12 years, Nicaragua during its Sandinista revolution, and Sandinista government installed after.

Honduras 🇭🇳 was a platform for the American military in the early 80’s and 90’s that is not the case nowadays plus let me remind you that if it wasn’t for US intervention in the war between Nicaragua 🇳🇮 Salvador and Honduras 🇭🇳 Honduras would’ve gotten defeated long ago the Sandinistas in the south and the FMLN in the southwest, I’m very sure this girl doesn’t know the details that go with the whole state of affairs, the only thing the USA 🇺🇸 wants is for that country to become stable and free of dictatorships, the drug war has left the country full of alligators 🐊 and if this lady is involved in drug trafficking it would be very convenient for her to get rid off the US and the extradition treaty, watch out people, one day you hate the US making it look like they are corrupted against your country but later you’ll find out that the only line of defense you had was The US but the US will get tire of your bull crap and leave you alone to fight your own demons it happens all the time . Porfavor paisanos no nos dejemos engañar y pensemos más independientemente..

Honduras also pissed off the USA by dumping Taiwan and opening up diplomatic relations with mainland China.
The tiny banana republic of Honduras of 9m people boasts the largest American embassy after the Green Zone in Iraq (not sure about the US embassy in Israel after its move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem). It is a state-of-art modern day, car-bomb proof fortress.
Honduras, while it has competition in Latin America, usually wins the accolade of being the most violent country in the world outside of a war zone.

Hola BT team, thanks for your RUclips channel, it's good to have a channel that's it's open to criticism in the USA. I'm a Mexican/USA dual citizen, after 32 years living in the USA, I'm back in my homeland, and it sad me to see how the US government mistreats its socio-economic partners, and the difficult part for me is to watch the USA government no realizing what its happening worldwide, and now most of the nations realize that we don't need the USA to be the middle man, the nations realize that we can deal directly without the middlemen that were sucking the life of their nations.
As a Mexican, I want to think that after the great work of our president Amlo, different nations realized as well that it's cheaper for our nations not to have a middleman and refuse economic assistance from the USA because the compromise to their sovereignty is greater than the economic relieve can offer us. They always take our natural resources and leave the poverty and pollution for the locals to deal with, so the USA is always taking for the little they share. I believe that soon the USA will realize that, they are not the last Coca-Cola in the dessert.

One of the primary reasons I didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016 was her role in creating further instability in Central America including her involvement with the assasination of Beta Caceres who was a grassroots activist in Honduras vocal about the negative influence of the US in putting puppet leaders in power. I hope for the Honduran people that they keep their government and continue to do what’s in their government’s best interests.

Here my primary concern with Hondorus: they don't have enough police officers like El Salvador did. El Salvadors police ration was 5 per 1000 people, much higher than UN recommendations for police infrastructure. Hondorus police are 1.5 per 1000 people, which is below the 3 per 1000 recommendation the UN says is needed to enforce the law. I'm not against Hondorus' policies, I just think it will be more like the cartel wars in Mexico than what happened in El Salvador. It would have been better if they waited to build up the police before starting a gang war, Bukule made a truce with gangs so that he could build up the police before finally arresting them all.
