- Landbouwmechanisatiebedrijf Van den Ende uit Sommelsdijk (Z.-H.) bouwt antislipwielen naast de achterwielen van een John Deere 6830-trekker die een achtschaar ecoploeg trekt. Het idee erachter is dat je met een lichte trekker toch bovenover kan ploegen, zonder dat je te veel slip hebt.

Wheel strakes have around on tractors for over a century! I'm surprised they're not more commonly used nowadays. We used to own a Fordson Standard N that had these fitted, and it was quite impressive how much extra traction they gave. Mind you, they weren't a patch on the full steel lug wheels that you could also fit on those tractors!
I'd be curious to know the gain.
But on a 4WD tractor, and considering the width ad the depth of this system, I think the additional adherence is very small.
Weight on rear wheels would be a better solution as its very easy to install and remove, and do not require any maintenance.
I think personally it'll make a difference in traction and fuel consumption and it doesn't have to be a significant amount. If you plow 3 weeks long 40 hours a week that's 120 hours and you save €0,50 per hour that will save you a €60 in fuel consumption. I personally think this is more effective than putting on more weight and it'll not only save you money plowing but it'll also save you money transporting the combination to the next field because this setup is much lighter to me it does make sense if you have much fields to plow and if you're going to be transporting this setup regularly.

Beetje dure oplossing een Deere met rupsen + bij natte omstandigheden doen rupsen het ook niet meer!

Dan moet je niet gaan ploegen
Ruspen en dubbellucht werken dan ook niet met de dubbellucht heb je misschien nog wel kans dat je blijft drijven op de blub, maar iets trekken vergeet het maar😂😂. Sowieso is ploegen met natte omstandigheden al niet zo'n heel slim idee überhaupt t land op gaan is dan al niet slim😅😅.
