Feel a bit bad for you lads, was surprised the ref let that shove slip before we scored the second. He was shocking all game to be fair. Good on you for turning out despite the season, as a Norwich fan I fully appreciate what it's like when your team insists on fucking up constantly. Was a nice compliment you paid carrow road too at the start, always welcome in Norwich mate, best of luck for the upcoming games hope it turns around for you
One of the better away fan blogs I've seen this season 👍 The the thrills and the pain are what makes this game what it is. All the best for the rest of the season.
Tough for,you guys, you were the better team in the first half. Norwich were better in the 2nd and were unlucky not to score in normal time. Hats off to Thorup for changing the system and throwing on new players at the end to get the result. I agree with you on game management, but Coventry couldn’t cope with Norwich’s change in formation using a left footed striker in that mid right striking position. Credit as well to Norwich for their determination to get the win when most teams would have shut up shop, happy with the draw after the equaliser went in. I’m not a fan of Lampard. He was interviewed for the Norwich job a while ago and I was glad he didn’t get it. He’s a big name who expects things to happen because of his big name. A man for himself. However, you have some good players, play out from the back, press high and can also defend. For that reason, I don’t see Coventry as a team for relegation, more like a team that needs a couple of wins to get its confidence back. I think you’ll do that and finish in good shape. Best of luck…
think frnak laprard's ca decent guy; just no great as a manager! Think we (Norwich) were as good in the first half, and I missed the first 10 mins of that -when Noriwch were apparently very on top!
A note on the 'safe sitting' thing... I sit in that corner and we got rails at the end of last season. I've sat there 28 years and we have always stood up. They have since extended them to the left, so they reach the stairs. Those people have never really been standers! Can't please everyone.
As a Norwich fan I enjoyed this watch. Thought the ref was awful today weird how he gave every tiny contact but let that 50/50 go at the end when Hernandez beat your defender. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Agree with you mate i knew he wouldnt blow after seeing the first yellow giving to sheaf but not showing any to the divers refs are terrible in champoinship but the worst we have had is paul madely prem ref
Excellent blog, fella. I sit in the top deck of the stand on your right, Coventry fans are always loud. It was a strange game. If Thomas-Asante had put that sitter away, it was game over. A frustrating game to watch, I would have taken the injury time equaliser and settled for a point. I hope you fellas stay up despite your despondent feelings at the moment. OTBC
It is just like htis sometimes... Confidence is relentless sometimes! We have had all had it and all been on the receiving end of it too... It 'feels' unfair! But Norwich just got better and better and better in the 2nd half.
Norwich fan here and yeah that was a foul for the second come on. I hate refs giving soft fouls when players just fall over under pressure but Hernandez gave him a shove and running at full speed: we were lucky to get away with that
To be honest i didn't think we (N C fc ) were going to get a single goal if we played for another hour !. Coventry looked quite secure & were passing around okay . . Regarding NCs 2nd goal ,i dont think it was a foul . - but why did the defender get caught in a 'shoulder to shoulder' when putting the ball out , or giving a foul away was needed . ( a goal was a likely outcome given the position & space NCs wide man had ).
The first Norwich goal was a worldie, no keeper is stopping that. And the second goal was a deflection. So a deserved victory for Norwich in the end, but very tough for the Cov fans and players to take but that's football and who doesn't like the drama of a late winner?
Honestly I have to admire you for going to games home and away at this point, as a cov fan I can’t believe we’re in the position we’re in currently. The worst thing about it is the fact there seems to be little to no connection to the players, most of them have been awful this season, the drop off to Milan has been a particularly strange one, Sheaf as well. For the first time in a long time I seriously questioned whether it was worth the mood I was in after the game to even listen and look at the result, I know a few fans feel the same. A club with a supposed “Top 6 deck’ which by Monday could be 3 points off relegation in January. This season is done and dusted and personally I wouldn’t be spending any money going forward but I know that won’t be the case and I probably will be back next week, god knows why at this point because the players certainly don’t seem to care. Great video as always and PUSB.
I can't understand what has happened to your team at this point. I'm a Bristol City fan, after you beat us 1-0 to knock us out of the EFL cup you guys looked as strong as people said. Even when we drew with you 1-1 in the league at home at Ashton Gate, I felt lucky we came away with a point that day (even despite us scoring first). Is it a managerial issue? Is it injuries? Is it the players had their morale shaken and their heads have gone? The team man for man at Cov is stacked to the back teeth with talent. Do you have any idea what the issue is?
@ I think it’s a combination of things but the main one being the back room staff changing quite significantly, Adi and Dennis left and a whole new system was put in place, new characters, new system, new tactics etc but still it shouldn’t be this bad I don’t think. One thing we’ve been quite fortunate with is injuries, Sheaf has always struggled with his calf and at the start of the season when he was out we all thought that was the missing piece to the puzzle but that isn’t the case at all as we’re just as bad with him in the squad. There’s rumours Milan had his head turned after interest in the summer from Dutch teams, his home nation, but surely at that point you then play better to get that move to a top Dutch club and your form doesn’t drop off a cliff like it has. As you said on paper man for man we’ve got top players who just aren’t performing to the level they should be, our first goal yesterday gives you glimpses of how good we can be if we want to but too many times we just switch off. Love Bristol and the city, went to uni there so always got a bit of a soft spot for you guys.
Good little vlog that, best of luck for the rest of the season. Rate Cov & your support, doesn't hurt that you can never seem to beat us 😅 Not sure that Lampard is the man to take you forward, but there are some very poor teams below you so you should be okay for a midtable finish and see what he comes up with over the summer...
A couple of weeks ago on Sky TV we saw Ephron penalised for the flimsiest of two handed pushes on a defender. But Lati is blatantly pushed to the floor before deflected winner and gets zip? Game management in those squeaky bits in games from City remains poor. Need a quality signing or two for me. Ephron and Haji Wright leave a big hole. Good side Norwich but we are too poor at defending to secure 1-0s. Well done Alex. Was there in 93 when they used to give us one of the upper tiers. Long way home!
We're a bit later than we like, but the day ran away from us again. Anyway, we still wanted to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY Alex!! Too bad the pressie/points were dropped right before the finish line... Hope you had a good day today!
It’s funny watching this, knowing the outcome and waiting for the pain. Sadistic I suppose you could say. Plus you had to endure the trip home, driving through mud fields and overtaking tractors on your way out of Norfolk. I guess thats what following a football team is all about and us Norwich fans, well we know the feeling. 😂😂

Bless Alex. Being Mr Robins was your manager? Always hoped Coventry did well. Pity it ended like that. Great you like to visit the city with the oldest colours in football. The city put out yellow and green bunting across the city for when Elizabeth 1st came on het first visit. Went blue at one point. But luckily came to their senses!😁Wish you all the best Cov. I know how Gutting it is when a game ends like that. And then that long journey home. Bless and good luck for the rest of the season bud. Oh yeah. Nappy Poo Smear!
@Norwich_News How is it not a foul and how is it weak when you are running at full speed and you get such a barge in your back?! You can not but fall over?!?! The nonsense we keep reading... sheesh! The only blame Lati has is that he fell over a few times easily too often earlier in the game so maybe that is why he didn't get it here when it WAS a clear foul...
@ that was the opposite of a foul Norwich are the most controversial team we’ve robbed hull and derby recently and I admit that but a shoulder to shoulder isn’t a foul it would’ve been given if it was the Lino had a clear view of it and he didn’t give it and I don’t think there is any way that’s a foul
No McFadz or Kelly replacements = a 'Deck' with no character or spine - we should have seen the point out by bringing on a defensive replacement, but we had none. The summer transfer window ruined this season before it started.

Milan, Thomas (although babysit him), Kitch, and Bids. That's our best backline, kerp a back four, and keep joel away, he's too slow.
