Do you have a doll or a person to model how it looks on them/it? I’d really like to see how it’s tied. I love headbands but can’t seem to keep them on. They slide off so easily on me. I’d like to make one with cotton yarn so I can wear it at the pool and easily wash it after.
I made the Summer Breeze headband & I just tie the ends in a bow. I haven't had it slip off unless I put my glasses up there one too many times. I do tie it fairly tight. I think the cotton yarn is kind of "grabby" so it doesn't untie by itself. I hope this helped!
1. Love this pattern. It is pretty fast, and addictive! Can't make enough. 2. I modified it a bit so it's worked as one continuous project vs adding a strap to the other side. My modification. sc 44 then slip stitch back up the chain. This makes strap thicker. Then crochet a triangle (simple inc on each side until get to 6 sc as in original pattern). I start your patten until the desired length. Then I create a reverse triangle (sc decrease on each side until I reach 1 sc. Sc 44 to make other strap. sl stitch back up to reinforce. Tie off and weave in the end. Still same pretty pattern just worked in a continuous project less weaving and same time.
I love how you explain the stitches it makes it easier to distinguish!
I'm so glad it made sense! 😊
Love this headband…making one now…can you make a tutorial for a newborn hat…also, what is the name of this stitch?
It's so easy I'm making one with glow in the dark yarn
This is also a perfect pattern for bag straps! Love it. So simple. Thank you!

TOTALLY have the same issue - because the ends are tapered and it is made of cotton i find mine doesn't slip much at all.
I completely agree :) 😍
These do not slip! Ppl love them.
