Hi Freddy, looking good so far. Your getting there, step by step 😊😊this is the only kit that tried to suppress the hopping by using a sliding spring system 😊😊
Thank you! It's definitely been fun so far. Except...didn't they adapt this same style for the lunch box? I think that's the only other place I've seen that system being that it's the same gearbox. But...if we're talking this buggy chassis then yes you're absolutely right! I don't think it's been added to any other variation.
@@FastFreddyRC hi Freddy, sorry, yes, you’re right the Lunchbox too. I’ve used a brace to hold the Lunchbox one, I’m just getting some road wheels and tyres for the Hornet and I’m going to test with and without a brace. Best wishes 😊😉😊
This series is making me want to buy another Hornet to build Box Art instead of the Avante style one I have!! My first ever RC car so not a bad thing having two is it?? lol
Funny...I have already committed this to the Tyco Turbo Hopper version I'm doing for this one but I have to say I need a box art version lol - just seems wrong not to have it. I love your thinking so I'll have to think about it down the line lol
These step are clutch for me Fred Thats the part on mine that is wonky without instructions your vid is perfect.. Thanks bud.. Great vid.
Excellent super super my Friend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
Thank you!
Awesome build Freddy. These tiny springs're a very interesting construction in many of the vintage Tamiya cars
Very true!! It’s interesting because they are very thin and don’t seem like they would be that effective over time. I guess time will tell.
