This movie is flawless. Everyone that acted in this movie brought their A- game. I know R.W. has many great projects under his belt but this was in my opinion his best work.
He was brilliant in Dead poet's society too
I know John Mighton is not really an actor and all but he was the only thing that popped into my mind when I read your "everyone that acted in this movje brought their A- game". I always wondered how the f* did this guy managed go get the part while being so bad and outclassed during every scene. It's only recently that I learned who he really is.

There’s a girl I get on with like this but it’s never a date. I was hoping for an official date but she said no. So I guess this isn’t a modern date, I guess you gotta buy a fancy meal just to get a kiss and a possible second date that isn’t a guarantee.

minnie driver is just so phenomenal in this movie. you can just see how will would fall for skylar, because you know you would too!
Fun facts : 1.the park where williams and matt damon sat that became a mark of willams memory after his death. There is an engraving of his name.
2. This movie was actually a drama skit which was enacted by affleck and damon in their HARVARD days.
They were studying at Harvard, MIT is all technology. And it wasn't a drama skit that they enacted, Damon wrote a short script for a playwriting class' homework assignment before turning it into a full movie length screenplay.
Affleck never attended Harvard.
Matt was at Harvard, Affleck wasn’t, but they were buds who worked on stuff together regardless

I just read that Minnie Driver was told that she wasn't pretty enough for the part of Skylar in this movie. I don't think it really would have mattered how pretty the girl was. If she was beauty queen pretty it probably wouldn't have been realistic that a rich pretty lady would date an orphan janitor that lives in a shack. Or that aspect would take away from the main storylines of the movie.

And she makes it clear that she is at least quite wealthy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Both actors can be seen as either attraktive or unattractive, depending on your tastes.
Minnie Driver is hella beautiful tho, just not the plastic doll-kind of beautiful.

@@nithinravi4401 Elliot Smith’s music is in the background of this scene and much of this movie. You could say his music helped make this movie as good as it is. His song “Miss Misery” was on the soundtrack and was nominated for an Oscar. He died tragically six years later.

I used to get coffee (Cadillac, not Soul) and a grilled honey bun there every morning after I got off the bus from Arlington (after walking around the Res from Lexington). I've actually sat in those seats (not that there was much choice). They had a world map with pins in it showing where their customers were from. There were pins all over it.
