    Apple should hire you for any future Logic releases. Seriously, there's a lot going on in this DAW yet you break down everything into really easy to handle videos. I'm never feeling overwhelmed watching your stuff. Kudos!

    I usually just play my melodies. This is a good setup to come up with quickies on the go. Good work👍🏿.

    Awesome video my guy. Do you have any tutorials on how to make drums sound like Heavyocity Damage? I'm trying to save myself the $300 on that plug. I've been messing with Decapitator and DevilLoc with some delays. Sorry if this is off topic. Great vid as always!

    I hope that ES2 gets updated on logic pro 11. The text are blurry when you Resize the plugin GUI bigger

    Is there a way to customise the note order at all in Logic pro without buying a 3rd party plugin? Thanks for making all the video's you've made over the years. 😀🙏

    Review: 1) Find root note of song. 2) Chord trigger the root note with corresponding scale. 3) Experiment until it sounds good

    how is this any different than writing a 7 notes chord and add an arpeggiator on the track ?

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  4 года назад +3

      It's not. It's more of a workflow choice, not having to go down into piano roll every time to change notes. You could technically do the same thing without the chord trigger. But with chord trigger you could have multiple note arrangements pre-programmed as well.

  • @AnteroJokinen
    @AnteroJokinen 4 года назад +1

    Does Piano roll look like that nowadays? :o Haven't updated Logic in a while I guess.

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  4 года назад

      You can change the piano roll from dark to light. There's an option in the preferences. It's been an option around for a while.

    I gleamed a number of plugins on your ‘Deep Tech’ drum channel strip. Is that combo a standard setting? Or can you elaborate?

  • @steveboris6286

    Just trying to understand the need for the chord trigger. If you selected the desired notes on the chord trigger why not just put a full midi note for each in the piano roll? Is there a benefit I am not seeing?

    Is there anyway to turn the rate to free instead of synced on the arp? If not can someone recommend me a third party arp that can do this

    Hi man, can you tell me if there is any plugin (AU midi fx) that do the does the same thing as Logic native plugin Modulator, but something with more options, that can automate 3rd party plugins parameters (not just midi cc)? I'm aware that cableguys have MidiShaper (but to use it on logic it's too much steps and I think it only modulate midi cc assignable parameters). Is there anything in the market?

    The GUI might need to be updated for sure.

    how were you able to tell what key your chords were in?

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  4 года назад +1

      I studied music and music theory in college. Check out chart of all major and minor scales on google, it will show you the notes used in each key. I was just using all white keys on the piano, so it was either C major or A minor, and the predominant chord was the Aminor chord.

      Iván Improv Try inserting the BPM plug-in at the top of the audio track and open it up. If there are sufficient clear regular transients it should display the tempo in real time of that track. This will not work so well on a track that is just vocal for example. It needs to be rhythmic.
