This show was the tea, the golden age of MTV shows.
You’re the first person I’ve seen that actually went in on Sadie the way she deserves, I do agree she is the perfect antagonist for this show, but other creators just praise her as so cunty or so iconic and I’m like bro she’s a literal teenage devil lol

We watched the first episode together and it was mortifying bc I didn't understand most of what was going on and my mother kept insinuating that this was how teens are and this was how me & my peers acted

my "best friend" in high school (I used quotes because in hindsight she was a bully) introduced this show to me when it first came out and I loved it. It was so underrated but the writing was really good. Every so often I rewatch the show and it gives me a sense of nostalgia. I do skip over some episodes in season 3 because the Colin phase is enraging and Jenna is the worst in those episodes

Wheenver you finish this series, i'd love to hear you talk about Faking it. The show came out around the same time as this show, so the 'comedic choices' are similar but i honestly think that the it was such a solid show and was really ahead of time when it comes to representation of the LGBTQIA+ community despite some of its more brash humor. I loved this show when i was entering my teen years so im glad you are covering it. I'm actually a newer subscriber, I found you through your ANTM video, but I love how you talk and express your thoughts and opinions

This show came out when I was like 15 or 16 and I remember loving it like it was one of my fave shows. Seeing it all recapped like this is so crazy LOL what a mess this was. It's sti so vastly entertaining and I can see why I loved it back then, but damn this shit was nuts. Surprisingly, writing wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It tied everything up pretty well for the most part with a good set up for a season 2 (that I never watched if it even came out lol) BTW, new to the channel and love it. So happy I found you!
