I don’t know about you guys but I get pumped up to go fishing after watching these videos!
No one does it like EV. The OG kayak stripe bass angler. Love the classic stuff informative, simple and entertaining.
Bro that classic video of you Romo, Sea money fishing the abandoned rusty boats. Is one of the best videos on RUclips. Wish I had the chance to fish at this level.
This was back up north with your NY adventures. I missed them. Thanks for the upload. I remember you catching sheep's in Jamaica. I love Jamaica. I need to go back out there soon. You slayed everything out here. You are truly a master.
The red kayak days, the origins of the Yankee GOAT. Now y’all know.
When he fished up in the Jamaica bay and Jersey
@@jdmmarcelo10 And he had that bad haircut for a while, 😂
Elias, I've been watching your channel ever since you sold coffee ☕️. And I have to say that all those stripped bass videos are my favorite. And watching how many kayaks you have gone through. All the catch and cook videos you did on your back porch of your apartment with your friends. Those were some of my favorites. Anyway thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us. Take care my friend.
Elias, Hey Back to your Home Waters. . It's like you never left. God Bless
Revo 16 Is sooooo sick. When kayaks were still kayaks.
Very good kayak. Not the best to bring a tackle shop but GREAT for just stripers & blues.
Those white buildings I know anywhere..beach 59th street Arverne Ny ..The Rockaways ..Queens at its finest..Growing up on a peninsula plenty of fish for dinner.. The joy of catching your dinner
The OG striper googan
Love the throwback. Good old days. I recall a video of SeaMoney referrering to you as "Elias Four Fishing". Lol
I wish I could catch them like this . At most 3 is my golden ticket lol
Revos & Stripers are like pb&j. Miss seeing that R16, Northeast footage as well!
I’m a big fan, big fan. He produces since day one. Just a thought, a rod with a Robert’s wrap in play.
You rock Elias! 😎👍
Nice to see some older content and gear. The quality of fish is verry high. I hold my breath when you horse them to the kayak. I am o so carefull that i don,t loose them. Good video man.
Hey Elias when I saw the old red Outback and the Brooklyn skyline I thought I was having a flashback. Its still great stuff !
Dude those was some tanks!!! Cool seeing your old highlights
Great little teaser for those of us in the northeast where the countdown has begun..
I love these longer videos
A blast from the past!!
Great video. I miss those northeast fishing videos
Nice work buddy, show them boaters how it’s done!!
Looks like that could be New Jersey maybe? Great throwback video. You should’ve been up here this fall….best bass fishing I’ve ever seen
Miss you fishing in NY waters
I love love love you videos. I am going kayak fishing this weekend.
bro you caught more big fish in this one video than many other YT'er have shown on their entire channel
Awesome video from the archives man! Enjoyed it!
WOW, what a Sripted BLAST!
I'm really hoping for a banger year for bluefish. The last 3 years have been atrocious. I used to be able to load my freezer with bluefish for shark fishing. Plus they are definitely a good time on the right tackle
Great vid! I miss seeing you in NY waters
Old enough video that snag & drop was still the way to go. Pre mega flutter spoons, too.
Awesome 👏 catch
The red yak of nostalgia
Miss these videos
The good ole days
Old school EV Vibe yes or yes 😮
get emm. will be out there soon chasing them striped bass
The Striper were nice BUT that is the biggest bluefish I have ever seen!
great video!nice share
Elias, you are my favorite fisherman/angler...
I missed that Hobie Revolution Kayak
They cut thru water faster and are lighter
Any recommendations on dry suits. Love your videos!!
The size of the baSS is huge. It's amazing to watch a video while watching a Korean baSS. I want to catch it, too. It's the best.
Just starting now, but this rain will screw it up this weekend.
I was just looking for some of your striper content.
Why-O-Why did you not keep the first few. I’m going to dream of fish sandwiches for the next few days. I’ll stop by this summer to pick up my order.
Old video, have been watching since you had the coffee business
Man I got to make it up to Raritan bay at some point
what spinning rod combo is that with the microwave air guides
I'm sure I wouldn't want one of those gators sharing well space with my ankles! Yikes!
Damn, that was quite a session Elias! Some absolute Pigs! Is this down in NY? Still waiting up in Canada for our Striper Season to start, cheers from PEI, Canada!
Old school!
Just an observation sort of question too. Why do so many rh anglers use lh wind fixed spool reels and baitcasters but then switch to rh wind for a muliplier? Why not use a lh wind multiplier and keep everything consistent.
That's cool. But do they even drum up there?
Do you have the link of that wetsuit you have on ?
Wow
Elias Which do you prefer for being in open water like this? I also live up here and have a lake/bay yak, but looking for a 13/14 footer, so I am wondering which you like or dislike for the NY/NJ water conditions
Elias do you think a 7'6 rod is fine for kayak fishing or is that too long? Would it be uncomfortable?
7’6” as long as I like to go
Nice, what is your PB with stripers on a Yak?????
Enjoy them stripers while ya can. Hearing a lot of talk of a coastal moratorium next year.
Your probably not going to answer but I’ll ask anyway, do you think the fishing is better in North Carolina than where you fished in New York ? Thanks.
Both are good but very different. Up north the migratory patterns really set stuff up for exceptional fishing. But there are longer lulls in action than there are further south.
@@EliasVFishing thank you, I might be moving to Wilmington area. Concerned about the Fluke season there. Thanks.
Do you have the link to your full Susquehanna striped bass trip? (I think i heard you say that @10:23).
Who is that young man in these clips?
Why are you not keeping the fish you are catching
They have seriously curtailed harvesting of striped bass in Virginia. Only one fish allowed between 27 and 32 inches I believe. I guess in recent years the harvest has been heavy and now they need to let the populations rebuild.
Hard to get a gauge on it when you aren’t actively participating. One side says more than ever and another says all doom and gloom. Truth is probably somewhere in between. Certain groups of fish are more limited than ever in my lifetime. Other strains to be doing fairly well. Sure seems like having lots of bait available and good water quality is step 1.
@@EliasVFishing Well, the water quality in the Chesapeake Bay has improved dramatically since I lived there in the 70s and 80s. They made everyone hook up to sewer instead of having septic tanks and that has seemed to make a big difference. Still some areas that are deemed contaminated. I didn't realize that 50% of the Stipers are born in the Chesapeake Bay so it's important to keep it as healthy as possible. I tried my hand at fly fishing for Reds when I was back there in February and there was a redfish bite but the days I had to fish, the weather was not conducive. Gold, cloudy,
and windy. I enjoy your videos and maybe some day I'll get to catch my first saltwater fish on the fly.
@@EliasVFishingThere is a large menhaden commercial operation in the middle bay that harvests tons of prime forage, not to mention bycatch that includes reds and stripers. We had a few decent striper days last year but the totals are way down from 5 years ago from my limited sample size.
Nice!
This is a great video, but its so shaky it made me nauseous.
I heard fall so I'm guessing this is not filmed this year?
Majority filmed 2015-2016
🎣🤙🏼
I mis the northern videos
Is this New York dude?
Some of it - mostly 6-8 year old clips I had to pull down years back or ones that were never published.
What did the guy in the big boat yell? I can’t make out what he said.
He said “Bro I give you props, you’re outta your F-ing mind”. I guess he’s never seen a kayak on the sea before.
Great great video!! Love the bass action! Is that Nexus rod the 1-4 ounce or 2-6? Thanks!
Amazing job especially on the catch and release
Pretty impressive catching those big fish in that narrow kayak in the beginning of the video.
You r one fishy dude 💪🙌✌️❤️
