I have the same problem with it avoiding rugs and thresholds in my house. This needs to be fixed and I think it is a drawback of laser vs camera for objects avoidance. Hi to Buttercup! Your videos are simply stunning! I am always amazed by your quality. Keep up the good work!
Great Vacuum. Perfect for me with 4 dogs constantly shedding and bringing in sand. I have a Roomba 960/I3 plus, Auto vac Nova and I would feel sand on the tile. This one I don't feel any. You are right about not replacing a regular vacuum ,which I still do once a week. One step farther I use a carpet cleaner once a month and it's amazing what that picks up that the regular vac doesn't.
I love to hear your voice and the very pro cat-tester (and of course the super pro and detailed review). This robot looks good, but I don't want that kind of base, because I want it and the robot to be hidden under a piece of furniture when the job is done. Plus my appartment is 65 m², so I don't need that costly feature. edit: I see that the base is optional and that the robot alone is sold under the name L10 pro
I understand. I live in a small apartment and a big system might not be the best choice. But I have two cats and it's essential to me. Still my main robot is the Roborock S6 MaxV that doesn't come with one of these. Everyone has different needs right? :)
@@SmartRobotReviews How do you like it? We have 2700 sq ft carpet, tile and vinyl. One Persian cat and 1 girl. Concerned about pet hair and ability to clean carpets. Any issues with emptying the dirt bin or hair breaking or getting stuck on rollers etc? How is the maintenance? Does it auto detect when the on-board bin is full and go back to the base for a clean or does it keep cleaning but doing a poor job because the bin is full? Does the robot detect when the outside waste bin bag is full? New subscriber 😎
It doesn't detect when the bin is full. Not sure about detecting the outside waste bin tho, I don't think so. The bin would just stop sucking up the dirt once the bag is full (I believe). I do like this robot but the downside is a small water tank, really not for those who need to use mopping every other day. My floors are no carpet so this is important to me. But as a vacuum this thing is amazing, the best self-emptying system I've tested, great cleaning performance, best value.
This kind of base is a no-go for me, as I'd rather have it hidden under some furniture instead of being visible and taking floor space in my appartment. So it sounds like a good idea, but is a rather bad one as far as I'm concerned, not even counting the hefty added cost to the system.
@@InXLsisDeo same here. Living in apartment, space is luxury and having additional items taking it up is just a minus, plus it looks ugly. Hiddem under bed is way better.
In terms of cleaning performance not much of a difference. This one has a smaller water tank not suitable for a big hard floor area. And I personally like the shade of the Z10 Pro more.
Hi, thank you! I didn't try to use it with Google Home, but according to this Reddit thread, only Alexa works at the moment www.reddit.com/r/Dreame_Tech/comments/phx4r8/can_the_z10_pro_be_used_with_google_assistant/
Hello, thank you for the reviews, liked them a lot. Which one would you chose, dreame z10 pro or roborock s7 (regardless of price difference)? I saw both reviews but can't decide. Which one, in your opinion, is better for hair on hard floors? Thanks!
Hi! It's a hard choice, both have their own advantages. Both will pick up hair from the hard floor pretty well. The Roborock S7 is a better mop as the vibrating mopping pad removes stains better. The Z10 Pro on the other hand has a front 3D sensor so it can avoid socks and other small things on the floor. I prefer the Roborock app as it is more polished and has a bit more features. Both self-empty bases are pretty good. Overall, the Roborock build quality seems a bit more premium. But the Z10 Pro is cheaper and is a great value for the price too.
So i love this review. Im still in search of a vacuüm robot for my house which is able to work downstairs and upstairs. Two difgerent floorplans. I al Willing to spend some but i Cant fond any which are able to work with difgerent floorplans
@@SmartRobotReviews thx does Roomba also have that ability?? Becaause thé Z10 pro is hard to come nu over here. For Roomba spare Parts etc... Are easy to come by
It was a very good test! Thank you very much! 😊 Dreame also makes better and better robotic vacuum cleaners at a good price! Have you seen the new Ecovacs Deebot T9 AIVI robot vacuum cleaner anyway? I’m very curious what the iRobot will look like with a double brush.
@@SmartRobotReviews Sorry I speak English poorly the google translator can do enough nonsense to translate! :D I read that iRobot and Ecovacs work together. That's how you got the T9 AIVI double brush. The iRobot Combo is actually a redesigned Ecovacs.
Hi! excuse my English :) . I've been watching a lot of videos and I can't decide. If money weren't a deciding factor, which one would you choose? My first option is the roborock s7 but there are several that catch my attention such as the dreame z10pro, q11, ultenic t10 or the yeedi vac station. For daily use, which one would you choose? My home is mostly hard floor Muchas muchas gracias 🙂
Hi:) If you have hard floors, any of the robots you mentioned will do a great job picking up debris, sand, and other dust. The difference will be mostly in the build quality of the robots, navigation efficiency, and mopping performance. I would choose the Roborock S7, it is well made, has the most polished and nice-looking app, vibrating mop that performs great, it has a large community on Reddit and Facebook, and Roborock is pretty good at customer support compared to other Chinese robot vacuum makers. The Dreame Z10 Pro is great for the price too considering that it's twice cheaper than the Roborock S7 and offers almost the same features and performance. The Ultenic and Neabot are worse in terms of build quality, self-emptying base performance, cleaning performance, and their apps are not as stable and polished as the Roborock and Dreame (Mi Home) app. The Yeedi vac station has a great self-empty base (on pair with the Roborock and Dreame base), mopping and cleaning performance are great too, but navigation efficiency is worse compared to any Lidar robot vacuum as it uses a camera to build a map and navigate around. The Yeedi app and the robot's software also need some bug fixes and improvements.
The main advantage of the Dreame Z10 Pro over Lydsto R1 is the front 3D sensor. The Dreame can "see" and avoid low-profile objects on the floor like socks, cables, toys, pet bowls, etc. Overall, in terms of product quality and cleaning performance, the Z10 Pro wins, but on the other hand, the Lydsto R1 is cheaper and has more accessories included in the box, so it depends on your needs.
I love your cat-helper doing the extra mile testing.

My Dreame Z10 Pro can't find the Docking Station for charing and for auto-emptying? Have anyone a tipp for me?
One of the best reviewers ive ever seen! Liked and subbed.
Thanks for watching
well done. just bought one and it's working superbly.
Great to hear!
Amazing German technology. Now I wouldn't have to worry about always mopping the floor
For the price this is a very good robot. Great review !!!!! Cat and boxes 😂
The winning combination huh 😂
Does it return to Dock and empty itself when the dust bin is full?? 😳
Yes, that's what the self-emptying station for :)
@@SmartRobotReviews yes thanks but I mean if the 400 ml dust bin is full will it auto empty and then return to cleaning? :)
This one, D10 Plus or Roomba I3+ ?? Cheers
came for the robot, stayed for the cat
That was my maim purpose lol
Can you make a video of Z10 Pro vs Roomba J7+?
One which one would you recommend out of the 2?

The L10 Pro is the exact same but without the Self-Empty Base.
10 months later, did they update the software to improve the obstacle avoiding feature, that was an issue during this test?
There was an update but I didn't test it myself. All I can say is that you wouldn't care much about such issue in real-life environment.
A melhor review que vi até hoje parabens !!!!
What about T30 OMNI?
Does this vacuum have to poop avoidance feature?
Excellent review!
Thanks for watching
👏👏👏👏👏Хороший английский, молодца! Nice feature of КотЭ, он протрёт под диваном и без робота. Шумный...
How does this compare to the Roborock S7 plus and the Shark AI self emptying vac?
Unfortunately I haven't tested neither of them. But I would say this is the most powerful self emptying system I have tested

It has a smaller water tank but if you don't use the mopping function as much, this is a good buy
Can it vacuum and mop at the same time
yes, it does vacuum and mop at the same time
Difference between the z10 pro vs L10 pro?
Can you make a comparison video between Dreame Z10 pro and Lydsto R1 please??
The Z10 Pro is better at almost every aspect so I don't think there is a reason of making one
I love the demo video and it shows how great the Dreame Z10 is.
Glad you like the video!

@@SmartRobotReviews thank you for the helpful reply, much appreciated!
Is the dust bag reusable or disposable? Im looking for a robot with reusable bag 🤔
It uses a disposable bag. Some robots uses a canister instead of a bag, like an european version of the Roborock S7 (US version uses bagged system).
Do you know if we can buy this model in China and it can be used outside of China? Or must we buy one from a local retailer?
Some manufacturers like Roborock lock the software so such robots can work with the app only in China, not sure if the Chinese Z10 is locked or not.
