Love seeing the denim origami being made. I have a piece myself and it’s very special to me.
Garett is the epitome of what I imagined a greaser from The Outsiders would look like in the 21st century. Great video as always!
Denim and Origami are some of my favorite things. If that guy enjoys craft beers, he's my new spirit animal/best friend.
Brandon enjoys a good beer, though I don't think he'd consider himself a craft beer enthusiast. Though Garrett is a big whiskey guy.
I jumped all over the Greencast Slub when it dropped on Blue Owl. Can’t wait.
I don't know why I thought that was Brandon's old band name... oh well. Thanks for the shout out! So dang close to getting a priceless prize! You guys have made this an adventure for me.
No idea where you came up with that one, I thought you were being sarcastic :P
@@NakedandFamousDenim I definitely was joking about that lol. This comment was continuous sarcasm. You were correct. I'm happy Brandon was in the room! I did receive both of my orders today and my labor day order that was sent to be hemmed even though I changed the comment, I'm glad they were. My first easy guy fit. Now to even more creative in my comments. Yous guys are going to have me broke, trying to win finally. This word of the week is definitely drawing more purchases than usual from me anyway...
Be cool to see when a new jean goes live and just show the flood of orders coming in however it’s done/shown. Maybe like a timelapse. 🤔
That would be pretty cool. I think we'll need to get one of those action cams and set it up so we can show the process.
Brandon's denim origami is a thing of legends
Green cast looks really good
Can you talk about what people can expect when they request alterations whether it’s hems or patch swaps? Does it take longer? Are they yours for good? Thank you.
Damn Garrett with the double horsehide 😎
Brandon O.M. - Origami Master.
I commented on front knee fades before and what are they, later I looked at some of my jeans and realised they are from honeycombs at the back that just extend around to the front, so, front combs 👍
I just read that honeybees will sometimes create what are called "rogue combs". Maybe those front knee fades can be called rogue combs.
I love the groovy guy representation
I love the fade section of these videos, and the fit checks. But would you be specific about the non-Tate+Yoko gear you’re wearing? The shoes and hats and knives that are apparently “classic” but I’ve never heard of them. You mumble those without any details! Are you allowed to tell us more about them? Dying for more here. ❤
Looks like he got his keychain lol I ordered a keychain and ended up with a knife sheath lol
Noooo!!!! Now i have to wait another week for the next episode!!!!
Looking good, Garrett! I love the Schott jacket and vintage tee. I know you are wearing Wesco's this day and also have a pair of John Lofgren Engineer Boots. How was the break-in process on your John Lofgren's?
There were a bunch of great looking hats from WW2. I think the navy mostly wore them? They look very similar to a toque or a Goobalini. Great episode!
Shout out to the special guest! Do we know which IRON that is?!!? Yes, I do iron some of my vintage jeans and see how this one works like a charm.

@@NakedandFamousDenim THANK YOU! 💨👖
Any plans to restock the perfect blue stretch jeans in wierd guy 32/33 waist sizes? They seem to have run out of stock.
I may ask Bahzad this livestream ,but I was wondering I purchased my first pair of unsanforized denim. I'm not sure if you're supposed to wear them for a bit unsanforized, or Shrink them right away. It would be nice to wear them completely raw for a little bit but then they'd be too big. I'm just a little confused on what exactly to do and there's a lot of misinformation out there about how to wear and shrink your jeans to fit
Be sure to ask me on the live so i can cover this topic. But the short answer is - it's a matter of preference. Soaking your jeans isn't going to harm them, it's not going to reduce their fading potential, so I'd say soak and shrink them, air dry (this will keep them crispy), and then just proceed to wear them as you would any other raw denim jean.
@@NakedandFamousDenim thanks. I missed you today, I caught a bit of the Jojo release stuff but I wasn't able to really ask much. But I can ask you next, I want to get into the world of unsanforized denim but I've been wanting until I know a little more. Would you recommend a cold rinse? And like in the bathtub? I'll try my best to ask next live.
'Tri" (pron. "tree") from Minnesota, hehe. thanks for the shout out! hope y'all do some jeans in the street content!
I respect the slipstreams
Thanks guys, you all do a great job. I've been a loyal customer the last 10 years..I will be purchasing more new releases to add to my collection of sixty pare of jeans 😊
@earllynch6733, I thought I was getting carried away with 12 pairs in 3 years! I'm running out of closet space because I hang my jeans. I am in exchange mode now by adding the Elephant 12s and Jotaro Kujo's purchased today - 29Sep23. I will donate my Black Power Stretch and Indigo-Indigo Stretch and bless someone to carry on their fade story. I guess I am graduating to heavyweight denim, and you know those bad boys take up a lot of space! 🙂
@@themoor5498 yes I'm addicted to this brand 😀. I consider their jeans as a luxury brand.brand dress them up with a blazer or dress down with a sweatshirt or polo shirt. Anything will match. Don't mind spending the extra money because they last.👍.
2016 doesn’t feel like 7 years ago.
The last 4 years have felt like 1 getting older is weird.
Time truly does fly! This is why we need to surround ourselves with people and things that we love, and enjoy every day!
He got da' TOOoK!! 😝
How come you guy's don't do much Heavy weight non strech black selvedge? Everything that's heavy weight always seems to be indigo. Would love to see a 20oz+ black that stays black or fades to gray.
Give us a few days... :)
@alexanderpierce7985, have you missed N&F reviews for the new drops? The Jotaro Kujo is black/black and there's one more 100% heavyweight black selvedge on the way. I think it's the MIJ - 13.
When brandon mentioned his brother, he meant Bahzad they are brothers with indigo flowing through their veins 1 in Canada 1 in Japan
Pornagami is great, might need to get my brother that book lol
I have an unreasonable small head, so I find it hard to find a well-fitting toque.
Toque-te and yoko
We do stock and sell a TON of toques. We are based in Montreal after all.
Toque macaques are native to Sri Lanka. They are so named because people put them in their heads in cold weather....probably.
Vinny, we know what you’re saying.
