Great video. Finished mine yesterday. Like you say it's a basic kit but is presented well especially in that gorgeous box... I added bearings and a Torque Tuned motor to mine... It's a worthy addition to my collection. . 👍
Omg I looked up and their it was Adam lol wowza so happy fighter buggy I love mine I had fun building mine he got the shirt on oh ya custom is a must open and shut case sounds like a closed case I like the decals most off if you put the body shell buy ur face u look like batman lol don't tell anyone that's my secret lol
Yep agree better motor and steering is needed. Just finished putting mine together but need to get a better motor It was interesting to see the mounts for the old mechanical speed control are still in the top deck. Cool if you wanted to go retro build.
Is fine for beginners or collectors that have to have everything by Tamiya. You comments on what extra steps Tamiya should have taken are good suggestions. But, I will seat this kit out as I don't like selling my models, too many for me already. The decals, gold wheels and box are all pluses. The chassis and driver just don't much for my liking.
I think the biggest thing that’s missing is a decent cockpit and driver, a special motor would have been a nice touch too . But I like the buggy’s overall. Those Super Hornet bodies look really good too . Good to have you back .

Yeah Tamiya always use the old moulds for the plastics. Most kits will have the msc mounts

Cool, the owner cut the decals and left silver around the edge. I'd like to see a comparison next to one with the silver outline cut off.
Plenty of people built them without the silver left on. Personally the silver edge gives more pop

spray the servo saver black and that fixes most of the visual problems!

Unfortunately no! But I buy them in bulk so I always swap out the plastic bushes
So the body comes pre painted??
No it’s not painted. It’s black and plastic. My friend didn’t want it painted.
