@@RCHobbyShed haha yea same here, with Pantera, Biohazard and Testament added in for good measure! I got an RX memorial for Christmas, just finished it.
That turned out absolutely spot on Mick, best I've seen. I think it had one of your Wizard beard hairs in the black paint lol I'm going to Pinch your threaded rod idea, never seen a body shell in the vice before haha. Look out the Wizards got the rubber glove on😥🤣. You're definitely the inventor and King of the Montage mate, pretty smooth & good music too🎼👍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks mate. Just don't look too close. 😁 Haha, nah it wasn't grey enough for that. lol Go for it mate, I usually use the rods for driver heads and things like that and then just jab them into the top of a cardboard box for drying. Sometimes you get lucky and the body has holes underneath where they can me screwed in. Lol, I usually just paint me hand but figured I'd use a glove out of the full box right beside me this time. 😂 Thanks mate still, working on different things in an attempt to be different and recently got some new choons too, instead of the tired old ones I've been using for a couple of years for the montages. Glad you enjoyed it mate! 👍
Thanks Jon. Yeah that's right, basically once you've done the last coat of primer you go onto the top coat straight away. If you leave the primer dry completely you really should sand it before the top coat. Of course allowing the primer to dry and sanding before the top coat is the way to go for the best finish, this is just a quicker way. 👍
Great vid Mick, love the comedy bits..but don't give up the day job!😆 Iol....Brilliant, I must confess l would of just slapped the decals on the shell unpainted...I am a bit lazy maybe these days but its a pretty good body from tamiya with a nice shiny look right from the box. But yours does look great mate very nice😉👍 Cheers James.
Thanks James. Haha yeah, no plans of doing stand-up any time soon. Totally understandable mate, on this one it's mostly decals anyway. I did wonder why I was bothering lol. Glad you like it. Thanks mate! 👍
Great work again mate this looks fantastic with those wheels. I'm trying really hard not to look at anything but I know I can't help myself especially when I look at my ultima ha,ha,
Thanks mate. Yeah those wheels really make it pop. Haha I know the feeling mate. I'm always telling myself not to buy...oh look at that shiny rc over there, I should buy that! 😂🤣
Top work, Mick, the buggy looks a million dollars! Love the way you sanded that moulding mark out of the roof, wish I'd done that! Also, that was cool how you showed on camera how reflective and difficult to focus on those stickers are - anyone building this kit - you have been warned!!! :P Anyway mate, thumbs up for a cracking video and take it easy! :O)
Thanks Mark. I thought about filling the screw hole for the drivers head too, but I think that's going a bit to far for this model . Oh yeah those stickers make the eyes hurt 😬. Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed it. 👍
Very nice! I just got one for my birthday the other day, so I'm excited to get started on it, great to see so many good videos you guys are doing, get me even more hyped for my own version!
Wow looks very good! I see your face and thumb up in reflection. LOL! I am done with painting two drivers for the Grasshopper and Fighter Buggy RX Memorial. I just posted pictures in community in my channel. Painting is fun but hard to make it perfect.
Thanks mate. Lol yeah, one of my standard gags. I just went and checked them out, looking good there. Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I'm still no master at it, probably never will be. 😁👍

So you painted the body cuz I heard that it does call forward if you want to do that and it tells you what type of black to use I assume I plan on doing that because people do that to the grasshopper and I painted mine white and it turned out better than leaving it unpainted.
Yeah Brad I painted mine. I agree, painted Grasshoppers look better than non-paiinted, same with this buggy, much better painted. The black paint matches the black on the decals better too. Yes Tamiya does tell you to paint it in the manual, it's TS-14. 👍
Hi!! Great video buddy!!!! Turned out awesome! Really like your choice of music too! Can I ask where do you get your black sport tuned motor from? Thanks I appreciate it!
That's what i call a beautiful, shiny hopper. Excellent build, sir.
Thanks mate! 👍
Literally every shirt you wear is a band I listen to 🤘🏻
Haha, good stuff!
Most of my music revolves around "The Big Four" but I do listen to a lot of different bands. 🤘😁🤘

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy them. 🙂👍
Great job, just watched it again
Thanks. Haha nice! 😁👍
Incredible job, Mick! Must have taken some time. Real shiny. 👍🏻🤟🏼
Thanks mate. It took one whole day, which I think was pretty quick. Might have been 4 days if I didn't baked it. 🙂👍
I think it looks more than just ok, its a freeeking beauty mate. Nice job.
Thanks mate. 🙂👍
Good job as usual Mick 👍

Great paint and polish job Mick. The 'wet on wet' technique is something I haven't heard before. I guess it helps the paint adhere.

Turned out nice Mick , I didn’t bother painting mine since I plan on making it a runner. I need to try the polish technique.
Thanks Eric. Yeah I wouldn't bother either for a runner. I will run this one but very not often. 👍
Lookn smooth mick. I drove ari's on my track that was enough for me haha.
Thanks Harry. Yeah I hear ya. I wouldn't buy one based on how they run, especially for a track. I just had to have the wheels! 🤣
