@@outbackrcaustralia4895 Haha, well I think it's a drifter. I remember its has adjustable wheel base and mid or rear motor mounts, but just can't remember where it is. Thanks mate, thought about the reflections along the way, trying to get it accurate in case I go matt finish, where it won't have real reflections🙂👍
This is great. By far best cartoon body I've seen so far. It doesn't even loo real in front of you. Love the fad of orange/yellow but what really sets this apart is the blue faded windows. Excellent!

Awesome job, Mick! What an amazing cartoon car you created there. Funnily enough, I just used a POSCA pen to add channel names to the body of a community RC build. But you just gave me a great idea of how to use these pens on a future project! It's fantastic to see how you can use your skills and imagination to come up with something truly unique. Great job mate! 😎😎👌👌👍👍
Thanks Mark! The POSCA pens are great. I've been using them for the odd touch up here and there for while now. They're quite reliable too compared to other paint pens. I'll have to look out for your community build, I don't get to watch as many channels as I'd like these days so I miss a lot. Been thinking about doing this sort of paint job on my rc4wd tf2 xtra cab.. only downside is it’s a matt black truck and a hardbody. I’d have to use white and silver to make the cartoony highlights on body lines. Haven’t really seen it done especially on a matt black truck. Hmm..
Awesome paintwork man! Wanna ask some question about pressure and needle size you using when painting acrylic paint. It look`s like there was no paint coming out. i`m just started airbrushing. i moustly use Vallejo air paint. 0,15 when detailing an 0,4 needle when painting overall paint. and pressure i`m using is somewhere 1,5-1,8par.

Thanks mate! I'm using UNI brand Posca pens. They're Acrylic, Acrylic paints work quite well on Polycarbonate. Not as good as paint designed for it of course but still usable. Most paints for airbrushing RC bodies are Acrylics. 🙂👍
Correct! I do that with all my bodies, no probs yet. I try not to touch the inside of the body too much but if I do happen to have sweaty hands, say on a hot day, I'll usually wipe over the area with Tamiya Polycarbonate Cleaner. Completely washing the body again will likely ruin the masking. 🙂👍

And then I saw the "graduado", and the strong or light blue was not just up or down, it was how the real shadows fall. So the whole car is sensational and you are a genius ! Comical Frog, well that could be your next comic project :-)
that looks quite cool, might "attempt" that on my next body ;o]] will probably look terrible compared to yours but why not try something new, probably the best design concept to attempt if you lack skill or precision ;o] might break it up a bit and add some complexity at least, I usually do my bodies very simple with 2-3 colors (spray paints) so adding some small details with an acrylic pen (which I already have few around) might add some interesting details without lot of intricate liquid mask cutting and adding multiple color layers
Thanks mate! Sorry for the slow reply. Yeah, this style is a nice easy one, no elaborate designs and intricate cutting to worry about. Go for it, I'm sure it'll turn out great. 🙂👍

Haha, thanks mate! Don't worry, I'm often unsure as I embark on some of these projects. 😁👍
@@RCHobbyShed Sorry, I hate to repeat myself! You are a great artist. Big dot. A+. End of useless discussion :-))))
@@rccarloverluxembourg718 Haha, thanks mate! 🙂👍
Freakin awesome 🤙🏼💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Would you get the same effect using spray can? I don't have an airbrush setup
that looks quite cool, might "attempt" that on my next body ;o]]
will probably look terrible compared to yours but why not try something new, probably the best design concept to attempt if you lack skill or precision ;o]
might break it up a bit and add some complexity at least, I usually do my bodies very simple with 2-3 colors (spray paints) so adding some small details with an acrylic pen (which I already have few around) might add some interesting details without lot of intricate liquid mask cutting and adding multiple color layers
Thanks mate! Sorry for the slow reply.
Yeah, this style is a nice easy one, no elaborate designs and intricate cutting to worry about. Go for it, I'm sure it'll turn out great. 🙂👍
