Good job showing us every feature it has to offer. Was glad to see SoundBlaster offers an American (English) version of the software because I was struggling to follow with the UK (English) version. Happy New Year and TY.
I’d listen to this Scottish accent crone on about audio equipment any day. 😂What a great find - I was just curious whether the g8 would be a nice upgrade from my motherboard. Seems so
Ha I'm not Scottish... :) but that's OK who cares. Middle of the UK actually and my 'real' accent likely you might not follow as its a distortion of the language in to a dialect that is only really common to here. In any case glad you liked the little review... the G8 does offer a lot for a little really. Thanks for watching.
Literally they have been there since 1981 - in fact when I first started the technology route with my career. Sound Blaster is there for all that time and what more could I say! Thanks for watching.
@@tonymckenzieofficial It's true! I do recall shoe-horning one into a 386SX system. I was just noting that they're still around, for those that want them. The AE-9 is actually quite respectable in my opinion. Though, I will note that my teenage son finds having to use the creative software to switch inputs rather than the windows applet to be frustrating. I have no trouble with it. It's not like I'm resolving an IRQ conflict.
Thanks Tony. I wasn't expecting this and it's not my bag but still very interesting. Happy new year.
Yes quite interesting subject - and one I have not seen by others except for games really. Thanks for watching.

1980s? creative soundcards? I just side-eyed my PC which has a SoundBlaster AE-9 soundcard with a breakout box on my desktop....
