I rigged a main line into the center console lights. If you watch my video on the door sill lights, I show how I did this. You can also rig a main line up to your dome lights by identifying which wire supplies light to the switches. But you can use that premise for any buttons in the console getting light when you turn the headlights on.
Thanks a lot ! I have no lights in the center console, but if I understand the tips well, I just have to wire up to a light from the car (like the roof lights)
@EragonThenics nope, find a button in the car that lights up when you turn your headlights on. The buttons 9n the dome light usually light up when you turn your lights on, so they are a good source to use. Don't use the actual dome light, that wouldn't work. Any buttons on the dash that light up can be used to tap a wire into.
Connect the main box to your main wire inside the car. That's for your dash lights and footwell lights. The door lights need to be connected to a source inside the doors. Each door box communicates with the main box via wifi. So if your window switches light up or door lock buttons, you can find which wire is the one for the switch light and splice into that.
Blue or purple are the way to go. I love the whole spaceship vibe. Very nice!
Blue is definitely my favorite as well 😊
Very impressive indeed !! Well done 👏 😊
Going to attempt a go tomorrow on my 2016 Ford Fiesta Zetec S. Mine is painted in Impact Blue so the blue ambient lighting will go very well that.
Great vid
I would like to know what power u used in the door? Window motor? Or did u have other power it there?
Hello, where do you connect the boxes to have power in them?
