The KTM Super Duke is such a great all round bike and exciting to ride. You made the perfect choice! And it looks great with the contrasting fluid lines too.I know if I owned one (maybe in the future) my other bikes wouldn't get ridden and I'd probably end up selling them. Haven ridden my mates Super Duke, all I can say is "Hell Yeah!". :)
Bike not home yet. Still waiting on my seat & other parts, then dealer prep. KTM parts seem to take a little while. It'll be worth it. Thanks for the awesome ideas!
Carbon fibre wheels are one of the best mods you can make. I had BST wheels on an RSV4 Factory and the first few times riding the response is so great that you nearly turn off the road and have to make corner adjustments until you get used to them.
I got the Carbon BST Rapid Tek wheels and they look pretty sweet. 9.5 pounds lost. You can whip bike around almost to a fault. I have the white/orange frame but want to paint the rear subframe from white to gloss black--then get your tank wings or some carbon. The wheels are glass so probably gloss tank wings too. So basically black/carbon everything with KTM Orange frame. Got wheels from Rottweiler too. As you said it's a great useable daily bike not requiring 9/10's riding to be amusing on the street. Want to be a track day ace--get a Tuono. Yet, I am also buying a SMC R 690 tomorrow. And have an Adventure 1290S. Love them all and all very different but the KTM rowdy factor comes through even on the big Adventure. Hope I like the SMC R for quick ripper jaunts around and to and from work.
Two things, don’t regret your flashers, yeah you can get cheaper one on ebay but they don’t come with the integrated resistors and you get a fault light, plus you don’t see them in the day, you get what you pay for. Second strap that PCv down don’t let it rattle around like that. Besides that bike looks good
2015 orange and white super duke owner from Australia here, awesome looking bike man, thanks for uploading this. When I first got mine there was no info like this available, I got mine lowered 1 and a half inches and it made a huge difference. Soon I'll be following your same route with the Rottweiler intake and SAS delete, very informative. Peace brother
Ken . Nice video. Am in between a r1 and a super duke, i know the r1 its probably faster but i dont know how fast is the super duke. Have ever taken it to the limit? Whats the top end of this thing if you dont mine.
Thanks for your 17 Duke tips. Best yet on the Tube. I have a 16 with all the goodies . Rott. , quick shift . Super sick bike. Demo truck came , hopped on a 990 in 08 , and have never been the same. I lucked out on finding my 16 fully nodded. I can ride it all day with the Power Sport seat . Oh check out Lamb Chops in the UK. On the Tube. He does a great Mod up , on Duke R ,and uses Carbon Wheels . Rear is half the weight ! But 10x the price. Ha . Thanks again , Keep safe
Great review your mods looks sick! specially the Full system Akrapovic, but one question bro? how is the mileage on the bike with these mods in compare with stock?
That I couldnt answer as I never really paid attention to it lol...I still get about 100 to 120 miles depending on how much freeway I ride...maybe 100 in city only rides.
Is the DB Killer on the full Akra system removable? Just bought a 2019 SDR and I have the kit on order. With the DB killer in, does it still have a nice loud sound? Also thanks for the tip on the rear hanger. Would like to hear a flyby video if possible.
I own a 2014 ktm super duke with full bolt ons The words your looking for to describe the bike None clinical it stands alone Ride one guys you will get the idea MAD
I came from an s1000rr also that I turned into a track/race bike. Same color duke as yours, 17 left over I bought last year. Literally installing the rotty air box /sas delete kit as we speak. On the last stage ( rear throttle body hose ). Seems to be a pain in the ass to get to. Also, I had the SAME issue with the breather hose kinking, I called and they said the same thing to me as they did to you!
seriously man..they're lacking with the 2.0 version, they didn't verify that their instructions still works completely...i dont think they would bother to fix it...I even asked them if there's a hose I can buy from them but nothing......so just use your leftover hose from the SAS unit...should work just fine.
Beautiful bike, I Have the same bike and setup.. Rottweiler said exactly the same thing to me.. Annoyingly they tried to make out I was dumb lol and assured me it could be done. I'm not sure how many combinations you can try and make the pipe work lol I Made it 2.... That pipe will not clock round to fit the new hose tail without folding in half.... Square peg round hole.. Interested to see if anyone else with rottweiler setup on the 2.0 have had the issue with rottweiler
They're trial bike I'm guessing is probably a first generation super Duke r and it works there...they haven't bothered to verify with the 2nd gen...lol
@@motoken Yea i had a personal email chat with the owner of Rottweiler and he assured me it could be done.. i knew there was an issue when i took off the original airbox and the hose tail was straight down and the Rottweiler hose fitting was at 90 degree.. just a shame there naive, I have asked them to make a video for youtube showing a more detailed fitting for the SDR paying close attn to the breather hose ... funnily enough they haven't posted it because showing people how to kink a breather hose would be bad for the business lol
...oh, I really love the orange/white wheels with the "racing" font from the early Super Duke but In saying that for your bike scheme I'd go with the carbon wheels. Would look badass! ;)
just wondering i got superduke 2019 i got rain street and sport mode i think but no race mode how do you add that oh should that be on and does 2019 has quick shifter some people say it has only down but not up
Ken Moto ah ok thanks i just hoped theres is a cable so i could do this my self somtimes ktm dealers ripping us off maybe the part its there just needs to be add on the computer .
@@motoken lol where did you hear that, the reflectors will save you ? you making your bike full potential and release at least 170 hp at the real wheel then saying you want to be safe :D Superduke is safe because of ABS , Traction control , Cornering ABS and Brembo's not reflectors, get your facts right. There are no evidence that reflectors will save you.

🔥¡More vidios the ktm 1290r please!🔥
Gorgeous!
Yours is beautiful too @kischardio
I am in exactly the same position Ken. I also have an S1000R unused for sale
Radiator guard is the best purchase ive done on this bike, i've had my radiator bent by stones n shit 3 times before that
Ohne question i want to buy a Power Commander But Can you make a Video how to install ? On Homepage you Can install the mods Right ? Dynotjet
When are u goin to put a windscreen on ur bike? Coz i think u mentioned from your previous video that you are planning have one.
Not really planning on it now.
Buy some rubber door moulding and remove the one sided tape. Fix that gap on the tail cover
Yup exactly what I did. Rubber with L profile 15 mm x 15 mm.

I removed the db killer on mine before I installed it so I dont know how it sounds with it on.
@@motoken I had an akra slip on on my 14 and there was a screw I had to drill out. Is that how you got yours out?
@@Solano.Serpents mine was just a screw. came off easy
wow my dream bike nice
Great informative video but I have a question, what's the fuel range?
About 120 miles on all freeway touring..
switch to the 200 rear tire size its what the 2020 model has aswell. Handles better
That's subjective
I’m looking at a 2018 as well. What did you pay otd?
Hi, when removing the exhaust servo do you need to plug in a dongle or does it need mapping out ?

Invade you didn’t know those are marchessini’s. If you look at the spokes on the rear their emblem is embossed. FYI bro!
tasteful mods, its not the same but i have mostly similar mods on my Aprilia Shiver 750
Looking good 👍
awesome
Why did you change OEM turn signals? I feel OEM are very bright and look similar to the ones you bought.
I'm in USA, we don't have that.

Did you sell your SUPERMOTO Husky????????????????
Yep, last year.
You forgot to talk about the power, stock vs stage 4
Well I put the mods on at 20 miles in..I never really lived with the stock power much to know and compare unfortunately
