I think the most important thing to keep in mind now is most people have Amazon Prime so you get unlimited RAW & Jpeg storage for all your photos and also the fact you can now use external hard drivers very fast to view and transfer files with the new updates so on that note I went for the 128gb and saved myself few £100

i got an iphone 7 like five years ago with 128gb storage and i only used 55.3gb, idk if it will be the same for an ipad i want it for college, art, watching and browsing
Since you can save to an external SSD it really doesn't matter that much. I don't need 24,000 photos on my ipad all the time. You can also put your games on a micro sd card. 252 gigs is plenty for me.
Just realized I bought entirely too much storage and I’m really thinking about exchanging it lol My mom thought the 1tb would be good because I’m using it as a laptop for uni classes I’m taking and to be able to use it for at least the next 4 years. Hi what would you prefer Ipad Air 4 with 64 gb with Magic keyboard or 256 without magic keyboard? I'm buying this ipad to replace my laptop and use it for like 4 years
hey, do you think 64gb for iPad air is enough? Mostly for files and school use. I plan to buy flash drive for backup.. but will it last me for years? Or should I get the 256?
I think about getting 256GB because I'm a huge gamer and I probably might want to watch some Netflix and other apps or do you think I should just get 128GB which is good enough for me?
In my opinion the phone 📱 is more important than the iPad. My phone has 128gb and I’m using 36gb and the max I ever used was 50gb. Question, do you stream when you are watching or do you watch offline a lot ? I just bought and iPad Pro 11 inch and I’m returning it to buy the 256gb model. But it’s not a bad idea to pay an extra $100 to get double the storage in my opinion. Im planing to hold my iPad for 3 years or more bc it has the M2 processor, the M1 was already a beast of a processor so the M2 is going to last me quite a while.
What do you guys recommend for a graphic designer. I will be using it for digital art, tho I dont really draw often, so im not sure if ill be drawing all that much. 256gb is usually enough for most people. Especially if you’re just taking a few movies and five or six albums for the road. Half of what people store locally they could store in iCloud. Are you really watching an entire season of two separate series on a single trip?
A week ago I was planning on waiting to see if Apple does something with the iPad Mini later this year. But I'm impatient. So I was looking at the iPad Air...but 64gb wasn't nearly enough. So I was all set on getting the 256gb Air. Only...at that point...it was only $100 to go with the 128gb 11" M1 Pro. So I placed my order! 2 days later...my Pro went on sale. I bought it at $750, and now it's $700 haha. Since Amazon hadn't shipped it out yet I canceled the order and was going to repurchase at the lower price. But then Amazon went out of stock. >.
I’m an illustrator and future animator I’ll also be playing a lot of games as well as editing those game plays. So I opt for the iPad Pro and got 1tb...better safe than sorry.. good luck to you guys!☺️😉
I had a 12.9 inch and found that I mainly use the iPad when I travel. I travel with my 16 inch MacBook Pro too so wherever I could use the 12.9 inch iPad, I could easily whip out the laptop. That’s why I went with the 11 inch this generation because it’s a lot easier to use on the go.

Hi @MDFRANK, I’m currently using a 10.5 inch iPad Air 3rd generation. It’s good enough for note taking, I assume you’ll do fine with a 11 inch Pro model. However, I’m considering an iPad Pro 12.9 inch with Magic Keyboard as a laptop replacement. If you want to switch between Laptop-like use and tablet use, I suggest going for the bigger model. You can find some comparison pics online. I can make out there is quite some difference between the two models. The tablet by itself won’t add to the weight but should you choose to upgrade to a magic keyboard, it will add quite some weight.
MDFRANK the 12.9 is much better cause you got a bigger screen most ppl say the 11 inch is great cause it’s really portable but that’s about it I’d say bigger is always better but in cases like these it all depends on how you use it 😆 I’m getting mine in July the 12.9 caue it’s just bigger and probably really good for watching movies doing digital art and all that cool stuff! Depending on what your using it for the size is key😆👍

It's better if you choose 256 or 512Gb, with any external hard drive that's should serve you well without any hassle
Me: photos? Music? I dont need 512gb but noice
128gb is enough for 99% of people
Yaaaàsss
512gb or 1 terabyte for me. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
@@chrish5222 why do u need so much? _curious_
I have 16 gb
not for me i am planning to play a lot of games and and do editing and editing believe me takes up a lot !! of space
Did anyone else turn their phone when his iPad orientation changed ?😂
very informative video, thanks for clearing up how iCloud photo offload works!
16GB= you need to upgrade
32GB= a little better but meh.
64GB = its not bad. But not that good.
128GB = good
256GB = very Great
512GB = Amazing
1TB = Superb
2TB = W O A H
I need to upgrade?... meh i can live with it
I absolutely do need an upgrade. I can’t download any apps on my phone without “yOuR sToRaGe iS fUlL” and I’ve deleted almost all of my photos. I literally have 4 apps on my phone that I’m not able to delete and downloaded myself. Tell me what this other is, it and system is taking up 14 gb leaving me with only 2 extra gb.
Is 64 gbs enough on an ipad mini 5. If i only download 5 or 6 games like pubg fortnite asphalt 9 and critical ops is it enough if i dont use any photo storage or notes or anything else
Yes it is enough.
Nope 128gb
Should b finr
I need one for gaming, lots of video editing, Netflix, and online school. What should I go with?
Buy 128gb and an additional 256gb crucial ssd(for saving edited videos ).....you will save a lot of money
I've now used 51.28GB of total storage and have 79.62 or something avaliable so I'll get the base storage of 128GB in my next iPad
i got an iphone 7 like five years ago with 128gb storage and i only used 55.3gb, idk if it will be the same for an ipad i want it for college, art, watching and browsing
The answer is 128 GB.
How much would you recommend for rendering ?
Does 16gb of ram make a difference in games compare to using 8gb? Asking to use cod mobile
Thank you very much, great video which helped me in deciding for the adequate storage for me! (I went for 256GB). BW from Germany
Hi bin auch von Deutschland
I wanna start graphic designing what would anyone here recommend
Get the 1tb because it has 16gb ram instead of 8 and 2tb is too much
I wouldn't use it for anything other than Proceate. Should I get the most affordable one with 128gb?
Since you can save to an external SSD it really doesn't matter that much. I don't need 24,000 photos on my ipad all the time. You can also put your games on a micro sd card. 252 gigs is plenty for me.
What about 128
Just realized I bought entirely too much storage and I’m really thinking about exchanging it lol
My mom thought the 1tb would be good because I’m using it as a laptop for uni classes I’m taking and to be able to use it for at least the next 4 years.
That plus, all the gaming I do on it...
I almost filled this Ipad I have now which is 128gb and it’s mostly gaming and photos.
It doesn’t include a lot of school work really at all... I’m thinking the 500gb would have been better. 😅😅😅
Photos app is the big one. If you have a big library or you like to keep originals on your device then 256 is the way to go.
If i just use this ipad only for college and read e-books, which one that i should buy? 128 or 256? Thank you😁
128 gb is totally enough
I play 3-5 games
Get college 7 text books each year
Watch Netflix but not download
Use safari browser
Is 128gb enough for all that ?
Yes, its enough
How do you get more though? Like I only have 32 GB...
Thank you I learned so much information. I finally decided how much storage I needed.
For medschool notes and digital art would you recommend 128 or 256? I have a laptop as my primary for uni
I think 256 is safe but for more casual use, like 5 - 10 apps downloaded then 128 is plenty
@Mohima which one did you choose? i am thinking about the same questione for the uni..
Leyla 256gb in the pro, I blew my budget and went for the higher since I didn’t want any regrets
Would you recommend the 128 after one year of using it or would you still go for 256?
This video was so helpful. Thank you for breaking it down!!!
Here’s a new reason to have an iPad that’s more than 128gb, for when you download any Affinity store stuff you have to your Affinity apps, which take up a chunk of memory.
If you're going to use your ipad Pro as the main and for studying etc
Go for more storage
but if you have a laptop as the main computer
128gb can be good enough for note taking and just drawing etc
But if you use it with gaming go for 256gb or more
Pls could u tell me should I buy 128 gb Or 256gb Or 512 gb I am buying an ipad for note taking school work n mainly gaming so does note taking take high amount of space or less n which size should I take I am confused because I game n the 11inch is better because it's easier to hold n use gyro on fps games but the 12.9 is better for note taking n school pls help me I am tired of my mind getting changed again n again
@@iunviersoulz5899 256 Gb 11 Inch is good enough besides this was a year ago my guy 😂
@@LepelJ man ik but man ipad Pro 2021 is too powerful most apps can't even use it's full potential plus it's future proof for 4-5 years so i am going to buy it in a week idk which to buy i got that i will buy 256 gb storage but bruh the screen sizei am confused I cant decide
@@iunviersoulz5899 well tbh if you want to be gaming too I would just go for 11 Inch besides it's more portable and tbh the screen size don't matter that much note taking won't be to affected, it's all fun and games until you get the Tab S8 Ultra hehe
@@LepelJ lol 😂
I plan on using my iPad for procreate/school work and just media consumption. I went with 256 because I don’t download music or shows/movies and I don’t really play mobile video games. My phone has 64 gb and it’s almost full just because of photos but I’ve had it for about 4 years now. Plus I plan on buying a Mac computer so I can use that for video editing.
how much storage have u used up till now? is it good enough for u?
Hi what would you prefer Ipad Air 4 with 64 gb with Magic keyboard or 256 without magic keyboard? I'm buying this ipad to replace my laptop and use it for like 4 years
I thought my 64 Gigabyte IPad was the most élite IPad ever. Meh, I'll be fine.
hey, do you think 64gb for iPad air is enough? Mostly for files and school use. I plan to buy flash drive for backup.. but will it last me for years? Or should I get the 256?
Ali Ababwa get 256
Because once you used 50 gigabytes it begin to lag a lot
64 gb would never feel like enough.
Thanks! I like your approach to the subject. I won't lose sleep over it. lol
I will be streaming stuff but probably not downloading videos. Mostly using it for school, video streaming and some art with using procreate or other Adobe programs like illustrator. I was either getting 128gb or 256gb. This is my first ever apple product so I don't have an existing account either
What did you choose? 128 gb or 256 gb? I'm in the same spot. Will use it in the same way you described you'd use it
@@GloomyPookie i had originally purchased the 128 gb cause it was the only one available but when 256gb became available I immediately switched out cause I noticed if im going to be working on designing or digital art imma need a decent amount of space, specially if combined with other stuff. I still got extra 256gb flash drive, with a dual USB and usb-c type connections to transfer if needed. Hope that helps
@@beastsshadow8988 You just confirmed that it'll be better for me to go for the 256 gb as well. Thanks (for your quick reply)!
Im looking to invest into a Ipad pro for my Podcast to be able to record on the go with using my laptop ( I got a Mac air and got the basic and I should've gotten a Pro however I was concerned on it being lightweight) So im leaning towards the 256gb is that enough ?
256gb will almost certainly be enough.
is there any difference between 128 gb and 1tb in size of rams or graphics card etc?
There is and that’s a good question btw. The base iPad Pro the 128gb model and the 512gb comes with 8gb of ram and the 1tb to 2tb comes with 16gb
I have the 128GB with a micro SD card at 1 terabyte capacity. I had the card for couple of years so decided to save a little plus iCloud and google photos I can manage mainly my photos and videos. Great information thank you 🙏
This was the best review I’ve seen by far.
Thanks for sharing from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you so much it really helpful information you give , I'm really screwed before
I draw on my moto g7 which is 64 gb, so my iPad with 128 will be a huge upgrade right?
Yes
How much storage do you recommend 512gb, 256gb, 128gb for the iPad Pro? I want to start creating 4K videos and use Microsoft products a lot. I just bought the 512gb but I feel like it might be too much. I am already paying 200gb iCloud.
Bet you won’t use more than 128gb. Lmk
@@born2win259 I was almost using 256gb before downgrading to the new air.
256gb is usually enough for most people. Especially if you’re just taking a few movies and five or six albums for the road. Half of what people store locally they could store in iCloud. Are you really watching an entire season of two separate series on a single trip?
How do you upgrade iPad storage cause I have 200 GB for iCloud but only 32 GB for iPad storage
For a normal everyday user I think 256gb will be perfect
Me: *backs up account
Storage: Amq I a joke to You?
A week ago I was planning on waiting to see if Apple does something with the iPad Mini later this year.
But I'm impatient.
So I was looking at the iPad Air...but 64gb wasn't nearly enough. So I was all set on getting the 256gb Air.
Only...at that point...it was only $100 to go with the 128gb 11" M1 Pro.
So I placed my order!
2 days later...my Pro went on sale. I bought it at $750, and now it's $700 haha. Since Amazon hadn't shipped it out yet I canceled the order and was going to repurchase at the lower price.
But then Amazon went out of stock. >.
Awesome! Got the best iPad with the most comfortable storage option for a steal! Enjoy!!
I’m an illustrator and future animator I’ll also be playing a lot of games as well as editing those game plays. Believe me; I tried the 215gb on my 6th generation iPad and lost half of my storage space that I didn’t even get to use! So I opt for the iPad Pro and got 1tb...better safe than sorry.. good luck to you guys!☺️😉
Does it stop working when the space increases?
Thanks for the wonderful video.. and i am confused of buying between 11 inch and 12.9 inch.. which one do you suggest.. kindly reply pls
@@SuprUsrStan i also travel a lot and watch movies on bed.. i didn't see any of the ipads in real life.. watched it only on youtube.. i had samsung tab s6 and sold it for ipad pro.. and i am new to apple eco system. I think best suitable to me is 11 inch after seeing videos. Only one question.. my mind is actually tempted towards 12.9 vs 11 inch everyday.. could you tell me about the size difference.. is it actually that much big the 12.9. Can we hold it on hands on bed like watching movies.. so many people saying 12.9 is best for note taking.. can we take notes comfortably on 11 inch.. kindly answer me on your free time.. if possible do post some videos on RUclips. Only few people like you talk about real word usage scenarios. Others doing marketing by showing product features. I highly appreciate you.. thank you and waiting for more
Hi @MDFRANK, I’m currently using a 10.5 inch iPad Air 3rd generation.
@@rishikamath6718 thanks bro..
Can any one suggest which storage of iPad Pro is good.....most of my usage is watching movies downloading music and playing a little bit games and entertainment purpose....which one is good between 512gb or 1tb?
Ye sure I would advise 512 because it cheaper and gaming only like 30 GB movies could go up to 100 if u watch alot 50 GB photos if u take so yeah u might need a TV if u do work or if u do loads of secondary so basically I advise 512
Btw nice name
And have a nice day and respond please lmao
Foxy Rul great to hear.....I have chosen 512 only bro.most of the people told me that 1 tb is for app creators.along with that I have opted for Apple care plus....my beast will arrive next month.thank u.
Foxy Rul bro do u suggest apple care plus....it cost me 16 thousand Indian rupees.
Will 128 gb be enough for playing 1 or 2 games like pubg call of duty or fifa and watching movies (may need downloading )and using fb messenger RUclips?
256 a safer bet
I want to buy an iPad Mini 5 to use mostly as kindle e-books reader, but also as main device when I'm on holiday; considering I download and keep all the e-books I buy on my tablet (because I like to re-read them), should I go with the 64GB or the 256GB model?
12.9 inch 512GB ipad pro is a good deal.
Parmy Ebony Ugh apple takes too long to deliver 🤦🏻♀️
How do I upgrade my iPads gigabytes? If it’s not new. Can I to 1000 gigabytes?
So i want to buy the ipad 9 ,i want to use it for some games procreate and maybe note taking im not a heavy artist just for fun so idk which capacity i should buy ?
Is it possible to buy iPad storage not iCloud?

512
Great video thank you so much. However, Can you help? I have an IPad Air2 with 16GB storage. I’m struggling all the time now with not enough storage left. IPAD keeps telling me storage is nearly full. (15.8). I keep deleting photographs but it’s not enough. Could you tell me my best options to make more room. I don’t do gaming or save films, just emails and photos. I can’t afford a new iPad ❤️❤️❤️
Its been 4 months so maybe this has been fixed already, but have you considered google drive, dropbox, and onedrive?
This is very helpful!! I think I want this 512GB space on my iPad 8th Gen
128 gb is so enough
Atleast for me ⊙_⊙
I play games like fortnite , trust me its enough
@Crest - BarcrestPlayers it will come back tho
And i won't just get an iPad worth 999 just for gaming
128 gb is enough for me for , school, daily routine, and much more

just editing some 1080 p videos, edit some photos and some games will 128 be enough? its enough right if im done editing i just delete all the videos and then start with next video thats my plan if its not enough
did you purchase the 128? I'm not sure what to buy, my case is the same as yours plus notetaking for school and reading PDF's
A lot of people are saying one can use external hard drive, but I'm not sure if you can save your video projects on the hard drive or first use the ipad to save it and then move it to the hard drive :/
128gb how much storage available space on iPad pro-2020
How much is 1TB cuz I want to draw with a iPad pro 12.9 for the rest of my life.
Check the Apple store :/
Deliveries are into September, do NOT go off Apple store. Buy from Costco or Best Buy.
Markey11 actually I would because Apple offers much better deals for education on iPads than Costco and Best Buy. For me it’s 100 dollars cheaper because of their education pricing program. They also give free AirPods right now (07/30/2020). I would typically agree with you, but in this case it may be better to opt for their education pricing
Lets just 512 would be enough for u yui
Is the 1 Terabyte a hard drive and is that better or am I getting confused?
The "storage" is a internal hard drive.
Thank you very much😊 it really helped me
128g is enough to play Genshin and draw on procreate ?
Yup its enough
