    I have 329k miles on my 2012 Camry. Bought it brand new with 16 miles on it. The only thing I have done is oil change/air filter, sparkplugs, tires and brake pads. Still drives like the day I bought it.

      Awesome bro! Still have it? Whats the mileage at? What maintenance has it needed? Id wager just fluids and wearables - not much else…

      you don't have the burning oil issue of the previous models?

    • @tb-xy7lg
      @tb-xy7lg Год назад +10

      @Mark Leckband I gave it to my dad around 4 months ago. It has 334k on it now, he doesn't drive it much. Nothing has been done to it since I gave it to him other than oil. He's going to change it every 2-3k miles to be safe.

    • @tb-xy7lg
      @tb-xy7lg Год назад +6

      @@jdsreviews4056 No it does not have that issue. No oil burning of oil or leaks at all.

      @tb-xy7lg Год назад +3

      @@markleckband4495 also if you think the Camry milage is impressive, the 2001 Lexus is300 I had before the Camry (bought it when I was a teenager) had 670k miles on it. Original motor. I bought it as a teen for $2000 with 490k miles on it lol 1 owner who used it to travel states for his job.

    I have a 12 LE and it’s been a great car it has 128k miles and literally drives and runs like it’s just a year old. Very comfortable ride and never gives me issues. Even with me not having a huge income that car is so affordable to own and I can drive a newish car and still pu very little for it. Heck my insurance with full coverage is only $100 because it’s a Camry. A lot of people say the Camry is boring but fail to realize that it’s meant to be just a car. That’s like making fun of a Lamborghini for being too fast. I feel as though the 2012-2014 Camrys are the last of the reliable Camrys. I see a lot of people in debt driving cars that may look cool but those people are broke. It’s the people driving used Camrys that are the real smart ones

    Video maybe old but as a huge car enthusiast who just loves the heck out of high horsepower and good looking cars, there are just moments in life where simple things like this matter more. I humbly say that I own this exact model and the rest of my saved income went to investment accounts such as 401K’s, IRA’s, and other types of investments. Maybe sooner or later I will be able to buy my dream car but at the same time I don’t think I will be letting go of this car as it has never given up on me as well.

    I bought a 2012 Camry in 2015 for 14, 600. It had 29 000 on it. Over the next eight years I put 11,000 on the car. With 41 000 miles on it I could sell it in a hour for 17k. No wonder this car is still the most frequently seen taxi in Manhatten. Also, this car is invisible which rich people prefer.

    I love it, I love everything about this man, every sentence spoken was pure and human. I've had my second hand 2013 base model Camry for about 3 years and even till this day I just stand around looking at it in the driveway, just grateful to have it. I drive between 300 - 380 KM 6 days a week and every time I come home and park it, it just does it, no complaints or issues, no matter how much you drive, Toyota cars just obey. You can have your hobbie car dream but the pure definition of a car, getting from point A to B with ease, comfort, safely, reliability and plenty of room for luggage, that is a Camry.

    Amazing wise words you said in this video about the amazing 2012 Camry, I totally agree with you on buying this car and actually being the one owning it out right and not having to worry about paying off your credit. I also agree with the wise words that you said about not being embarrassed and depressed about driving this amazing car, because I agree that the majority of the people that are driving Mercedes, BMW, they are the ones that look depressed and I honestly don't even think they actually enjoy the cars but they only want the gratification and the acceptance of others, they just want to show off to people that they don't even like, you should only look to impress yourself not others, because all of them don't even care about you in the first place.

It has about 123,000 miles on it now. No need or desire to purchase anything else for the rest of my life. 4 cylinder model that handles the Colorado mountains in stride. No need for a V6. I own a 2018 GX460 and my wife a 2015 RAV4. My daily driver was a 2009 Corolla which I recently sold with 180k miles. It still was running strong and clean. I sold it and bought a one owner, local from NC, 2014 Camry LE ( with leather. I believe he paid the dealer or 3rd party to install the leather ) for $11k with 120k miles as my daily to replace the Corolla and it is worth every dime. I am very pleased with the vehicle and ride quality. I did buy the fog light kit since i didn’t like the plastic on the front bumper but I’m very pleased with the vehicle. Pretty smooth and comfortable. Thanks for the video.

    The 2.5L is a solid engine. However the earlier 2.4L 2007-2009 Camrys are huge oil burners as are the Camry hybrid 2.4L versions from 2006-2011. The 1.8L in other Toyota vehicles during this era are also big oil users including the Prius from 2010-2014. Check for excessive complaints on any prospective purchase since the problem is in the design of the piston rings.

    I own the Hybrid version of this car. XLE trim and I assure you it’s quicker than the base 4cyl and gets 44mpg easily for BOTH city and highway 🤓 maintenance is even lower due to not having a drive belt and the engine rarely ever revs up since the battery usually kicks in at low speeds. I absolutely love it and I believe I should easily get 300k of miles from it. I’m coming from a Genesis G80 with a 5.0 (I still own it, just needed something more fuel efficient)

    I agree. People always say Toyota is the most boring cars in the world, but when I'm on the interstate, I see Camry, Corolla, 4runner, highlander, etc at 85-90 mph. Obviously Toyotas are good enough to cruise at those speeds and still run 400000 miles. I'm saying that as a Honda person. I respect all car brands. Toyotas will run those roads believe it or not. People that drive Toyotas knows this as well. They do not feel they have to do the speed limit in a Toyota product. For what you need Toyotas delivers.
