I remember that in Season 3 of Picard Enterpise - D port nacelle (that was once Syracuse's) had some missing panels, it would be nice if alongside those decals the gave alternate port nacelle.
I got my D in yesterday and posted the unboxing on my channel. One thing that is a must for this kit is a main shuttlebay if you go and light this kit. Luckily Federation models has a shuttlebay that is pretty decent and Green Strawberry makes one too.
Hi , new to the channel, "yeah" I have the exact same kit & out with my sanding paper & sticks , take it from me they look a thousand times better once the raised detail is gone everything recessed has stayed on mainly windows plus grid lines all phasers have been removed not accurate any how . Oh beware the warp pylons have plenty of dips & bumps , once completed the sanding you will be looking at a new ship a better ship.
@@ptaylor5014 Motion Picture Miniatures, "yeah" I ordered some masks from him some time ago I have heard nothing from him ,won't be buying anything form him again ,at least Green Strawberry deliver what they promised that's all anyone can ask for .
I was just looking at this bit of kit the other day and wondering if it was worth it. Finding decent and good sized Ent-D model kits these days is hard. Nice they added the Syracuze option for the decals too :D
Yeah finding a good sized model of the Enterprise-D is hard these days, seems that nearly all of the original kits from 30+ years ago have now all been built by people, Round2 have listened to us builders and finally made this kit in the Translucent white plastic which is great for lighting it up.
Great sharing friend!

Well done on a beautiful paint job on your WiP, one of the few good things to come from Generations was the upgraded D.

I so what to do this. But I cannot even imagine putting those stickers on.

Thank you Gary, yeah i know all the problems with these kits, this is about my 6th build now.
Paul have you tried the Green Strawberry range of products on this kit at all , I have the fruit basket range I would be interested in your opinion .
@@garywood1973 No, but i do have the new range from "Motion Picture Miniatures" check them out to see what they offer for this kit.

I really wish they or someone else would do a commercial production 1/1000 scale Enterprise D kit.
@@johnatsf1564 Agree with you, there was one or two "garage kits" sold over the years, but imagine if Round2 mass produced them in 1/1000 scale!
