Tip for right handers, I find it much easier to remove the darts from the stock if you cup the bottom of the stock with your LEFT hand while holding the grip with Right hand. Now with your Left thumb, push the dart out and into your Left fingers. Grip the dart and roll it down into your Left palm. Now you can grab the dart with your left thumb and pull away from the stock. The technique is a modified reversed Tactical reload for pump shotguns I learned in the Military. I hope this helps out.
There is one air release hole in between the smart ARs. I didn't notice if you had plugged it. Plugging it made no improvement with the stock spring, but I wonder if it makes a difference with the heavier spring. I may have to do this to my CrusherKey. Thank you for doing all the hard work. These videos are so useful.
WAIT that grip to stock connection is identical to the saturns the Saturn has a male one in the blaster so you could use this entire blaster as a grip for the Saturn
Another option for measuring a spring without compressing it would be just measuring the diameter of the wire with calipers and multiplying that number by the number of coils. Works well, no chance of getting hurt.
Squeeze your darts! Mega XL darts have an inconsistent radius. The barrels of the double crusher have a small radius, especially compared to boomdozer. Alot of times, the darts would be too small, causing the darts to be super slow and duding out. I nearly took mine back. However, then i just started squeezing the back of the darts a couple of times before i load. This made it load and shoot much more consistently, especially the more i did it. Now i am very happy with it.
I am now very curious if they have to bring back belt feeds in order to make a semi or full auto Mega XL I would LOVE to have what is essentially a military Vulkan in nerf
Quick question: can you get brass (barrels/breeches, possibly other metals for SCAR barrels) that is the right size for mega and rival, or would I just have to use PVC or 3D printed breeches? Edit: it's not obvious but my past username was "Yeet Haw" I just intend to revamp my channel. Just thought I'd clarify.
Obviously there does exist metal barrel material for both Mega and Rival as the Megaburn and Rivalburn exist and have metal barrels. Do I have a source for them? No.

This is just a better double breach. Heck, you could even chamber it for regular mega rounds to really show much better it is.
What makes these darts really zoom is a monstrous air tank. those darts will fly 100 feet with one a titan tank on it.

So you pretty much need to either by an entirely different blaster to butcher for a spring, or get lucky and find a spring that fits just right
