Looked like at the end it was stopped, but I dont know if it was a knockout countdown or a end of match. Second match it actually stopped one and the other was in pretty rough shape, one wheel wasnt turning on it.
Disabling the opponent's weapon by clogging it with an airbag is hilarious and genuinely a good tactic. It only really works with spinners probably, but still.
I think NHRL has some rules against entanglement-based weapons, though with everything that happened in this video i'm not so sure how strict those rules are.

I had the pleasure of being the guy who got to assemble and wire up the drive base. As ever just not enough space inside (thanks Aren) but it was great to see the havoc they were able to build on top of it.
3 wins, from 2 joke robots and a 1-shot flipper, because of the drive. The driver gets credit as well, and the weight class seems... is it a fair fight? If yes then you killed it.
@@gemhunter498 yeah, but that has significant implications about the drive. It's probably the most important part of robot combat, so their bots winning isn't such a shock. They still took hits and kept going, they still performed really well.

I was literally thinking if someone made a robot with foam walls with tough string or fabric atuffed behind them, could cause some damage to spinners but then later in the video shows how well that airbag fabric worked for such a thing.
