You are so right but i feel we are wired differently. I enjoy working in children services and i think working with adult will be boring for me. I think may be because i have always worked with children and family for years in my legal profession. Yes social work appears simple but its hardwork . Thanks for the update Obehi. You are a Gem❤
Thanks for sharing Wale. Some people love children and family. I do as well however if the policy in the organization is not well thought out, it can be draining for staffs. I hope you get what I mean?
we have similar work experience. I worked in child protection for almost two years, and man, I am traumatised! Haha, I'll never do it again! It was the hardest job I have ever done. The emotional stress, like you said, is so much! I was always tired and stressed. Everyday I would stay up till 2 AM catching up on case notes and constantly worrying about my clients. I'm in mental health now, and I prefer it! It has its challenges, but it is way better than child protection in my opinion. But I have mad respect for those in child protection tho because it's not easy! haha
Hey Rainbow, I swear child protection has a lot of challenges and I feel it's because of the bureaucracy around it. Mental health is more structured in a way and that because the awareness around it is massive now. That been said thanks for sharing. Are you in Canada? I will like to know.😁
Thanks for sharing. Child protection is challenging and i made the decision to not work in children services. The worst thing for me is when people say oh you work from home your job is not that hard. Those words really get to me
Looking forward to the coaching session. Thank you!
you are welcome. Thanks for watching
