Just found this. Just know you made a 50 year old guy who heard this when he was 13/14 ecstatic! This is one of the best. Thank you. Amazing breakdown!
4 solo sections. Chris Poland plays the first solo over the slower acoustical section. Dave shreds the second and third solos. Chris plays the last solo. Chris' tone and playing style are so drastically different than Dave's, it's easy to listen and tell who is playing what solo. One of the top 10 songs from Megadeth. And yeah, Dave played this song in 84'. In one concert in November of 84', around the time Gar joined as the drummer, Megadeth was a 3 piece act with Dave doing all the guitar parts. There is audio of the concert on youtube. There are songs from the first 3 albums being played by Megadeth in 1984. Dave had enough material to release a debut double album, but he was smart and held on to many songs, releasing them later on the next few albums.
Gar deserves wayyy more credit than he gets. Probably THEE best thrash metal drummer around this time period imo. No disrespect to Lombardo, Ulrich, Benante and even Hoglan.
@@gennaro4941 Lol your opinion buddy. He’s on mine. In his prime, he truly was one of the very best. And people like you can hate him all they want but no one can take away how influential he was. Him and Lombardo are arguably the most influential thrash drummers of all time.
I love your reactions because thats how I feel about Megadeth (in case my pfp didnt give it away), theyre so bad ass it actually makes me laugh. keep it up homie! you're approaching my all time fav Megadeth track, "My Last Words"
For some "modern" Megadeth that'll make your head bang, i would suggest This Day We Fight. It's from 2009 and sounds like nowadays Megadeth. For even more maniacal oldschool songs, I'd go with The Conjuring.
@@palskee Yea, the Good Mourning/Black Friday one was the first one i've got recommended. Almost watched the whole series by now and saw you already did The Conjuring. Keep up the good work/vibes bud.
You have now reached an advanced level in metal achievements . The path shall only narrow, from this point only your insanity can be the guide. Travel well.
Mustaine wrote a lot of songs long before they were released and played them the same. Look up Megadeth live 1984 w/ Kerry King, so many early songs which appear on Peace Sells, KIMB and SFSGSW
I've seen them in almost every video but I forget to comment, based ALttP and Super Metroid posters back there :P Best of the SNES especially with metroid, istg
Somehow you missed the best line in the song and possibly the best lyric in metal “Bloodbaths are my way getting clean” It’s understandable because there’s so much going on. You will always discover little details when revisiting Megadeth songs. Great reaction though.
ahhhh gawwwd daaaammit.... the ultimate early megadeth, from what ive heard it was an instrumental but label pressed for lyrics so dave wrote nastiest shit he could think of... long live dave haha i think you are ready for She Wolf Live Rude Awakening version, its mindblowing to see it and hear it

Glad you enjoyed it! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Dave needs to start playing this song again
One of the best megadeth songs shit bangs
It's awesome!
Maybe the best…😮
Dave Mustaine wrote most of the first 3 albums before the first one even came out. Fucking genius.
yes!
Wow. I suggested a song on another reaction, but didn’t realize how many you already did 😅. Sweet! Keep it going 🤘

ooooh ok. Thanks for clearing that up for me and for the comment! 😊👍🏼

Lars.. lol. He isn't even on anyone's list of best drummers...😂😅😂

Lars.. yup
. In his prime.. simply the best👌..😂
@@gennaro4941 it’s clear that you’re just another troll. Have a great day.
Every fill is incredible, every beat is driving forward! The best jazz drummer in metal, until Greyson Neukrautman came along!
We wouldn't steer you wrong.... One of the most bad ass thrash metal songs of all time....I never get tired of it...
Amen.
Touché

Thanks for the suggestions! I've already done The Conjuring. You can find it on my channel.

Awesome song, awesome reaction. Thrash rules! Can't wait for Bad Omen from the same album!
Megadeth was playing many of these early songs in 1984 and 1985 before they ever released an album.
There is pretty much nothing cooler than the first 3 minutes of this song. ('Good Mourning')
I forgot how good this song is. 🤘🏾😎🤘🏾
my fav megadeth song
Palskee, if you're ever interested, another channel isolated the bass and drum tracks from this album and you will appreciate them even more.
Megadeth 🤘 👍
Megadeth has spent their entire career trying to make an album as good as "Peace Sells"
I wish that was it. After Rust In Peace, Dave probably spent the next decade trying to make an album as successful as Countdown to Extinction.
Peace. Sells. Rust.
Great reaction keep it up. Can't wait for your next Megadeth reaction. Rock on !!!
Thank you! You rock on as well! 🤘🏻😆🤘🏻
What a great album! I pretty much love them all except for ( Risk)
YESSSS!!!, Absolute masterpiece, my favorite in Peace Sells 🤟, hope next álbum is Killing is my bunisses or So far soo good soo what! Cheers 😁!
my last words and bad omen from the same album are amazing
🤘😜🤘
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
So far so good so what next PLEASE🤞🏻 Whole thing bangs so underrated
Truly a masterpiece!

Finally im early!!!! I recommended Hook in mouth, it is most definitely my favorite song by far!
Thank God Dave was kicked out of Metallica 🔥

Well, i’d say good mourning to you, but it’s 3pm lol.

Ah yeahhhh! They are my two favorite SNES games of all time! I'm working on filling that wall up lol! 😁
@@palskee I mean hey, with the glowing reviews so far I could see a megadeth poster or two up there soon LOL
More cowbell🤪🙃🤣😵💫
Definitely listen to My Last Words.
Richard Ramirez almost sounds like this guy.
Since you are fond of lyrics, listen to Nuclear Assault's Sin.....They are definition of what being metalhead is (was) all about :D

NICE REACTION MY MAN PLZ REACT TO TRUST!!!!
Intro almost reminds me of Coheed.
Oh wow you're right! Sounds a lot like a song off their latest album.
Come on Dave play this song again, I don’t care about the lyrics!!
Should be Dexters theme song
