UPD: Just started to play this game. I did a warlock build with about 20 hounds that fire a chaos bolts for about 400 dmg each at 30th floor. Im now afraid to play any further cuz i dont know which build can beat that monstrosity
6:38 looks like you missed the fact that you can now equip 5 cards.

13:15 has 4 out of 6 cards equipped "I have room for one more card" you can equip 6 not 5 cards
Wouldn't Frostbolt be better at the start of the chain? Always casting it instead of attacking between so you double your chances to proc.
Awesome, this game is getting some attention, I know you don't like posting fails, but you def should for this infuriatingly awesome game, there's gunna be a lot of them lol
Tip, lvls 1 through 8, let it naturally progress for 8 rounds, 8 - 16 power lvl that shit, 16-32 if your build can handle it, power lvl that as well, you get 1 progression per level so math that as you may, you get 9 cards in total, and the 1st 30 lvls are easy.
Maybe try using a channeling spell in front of the 'on hit' and then other things will trigger automatically?
As soon as I saw the first few minutes, I was super excited because I thought oooooh this game would be perfect for the steam deck! After that I picked it up and played it for the rest of the night. My main issue now is my build that I used to beat and become the 3rd Boss is way too strong to defeat so I might have to make a new save. Its like if you want to get all the way to the last set of floors, you have to progress in reverse? making a crap build, then a not-so-crap build, then a ok build, then a beast mode build lol. Also an update I tested it on the Steam Deck and it works great and you can call the performance so you can get like 4.5 to 1.5 hours depending on the power / performance settings. I recommend 40 refresh 40 fps cap with a 8w power limit. Much lower and the sound starts skipping a bit.

watching you frostmage run was painful because the whole time you had a less powerful spell casting first then another spell instead of cast on hit. you could have had powerful spell cast on hit powerful spell cast on hit powerful spell to literally mingun/shotgun

@@malick4455 Yeah I made a great minion build in the 60's to beat that I made a firebear build that is busted AF then I built another minion build that beat the bear but now I'm hardstuck with the last 2 characters XD
Is that reset part of the game or do you have to do some save file deletion shenanigans?
I assumed that if you lose to a boss you still become the new boss for that floor and the build that beat you gets pushed up to the next boss floor. Naturally sorts bosses by power level (not including rock-paper-scissors effects of course). If they don't do that already someone should suggest it to the devs.

The games looks nice, i'd like to see more. And IMO, don't worry too much abouit the dogs. Maybe even include them, have a cute barking doggo overlay if they happen to enter the recording or something.
I always get nervous when my dogs (three) start barking when I stream. Dunno if audience will be okay with it or not. No one ever cares. I still get nervous bc WHAT IF lol.

Diablo is a roguelike. The first game in the series was inspired by angband, which was inspired by rogue.

43:08 I think you should have gotten that Frost Orb and chained it into your big frost ball thing. IT has a 3 second CD so you should use something like a regular frost bolt to trigger that spell every second instead of every 3 seconds

Sorry but this is not like Diablo at all. It's just an auto battler dungeon crawler with a card system, not reliant on a loot system like Diablo-like games. Also Bullet Heaven is not the name of the genre either. People really need to stop using that term as it doesn't fit at all. VS and other like games are Rogue-like Arena Survival games. I usually just refer to them as Survivor-Like. Bullet Heaven would be a scrolling shooter where you shoot tons of bullets. There are some games that come close to that but they are not part of the Survivor-Like genre they are cut and dry shooters.

This game was confusing AF at first.
One thing I didn't like about this game is that the skills with 1 sec cool down can't both be used. It makes it pointless to have certain cards for anything other than the passives

that sucks that abilities will not work if you have wrongly timed abilities. it should not be like this.
If you beat the game you become a boss?!? That is just stupid, it means that at a point the game becomes unbeatable

Cool concept, but it kinda forces you into making builds that are barely able to beat a boss, or you'll create a monster which you can't kill anymore
Solid game but the floor cutoff every 20 floors makes all runs before that endgame period feel like "Your free trial has ran out." Til then.
