Just bought this game because of RCE, got addicted and beat everything on hardest level in 2 days 😅. Game is good but needs some balancing. Poison towers are completely useless, only good use for them is when you have a relic that makes poison slow enemies down, so you can use that sprinkler gate tower to slow everyone down. Pair that with earthquake or any other 2x2 cannon tower and its gg.
@@Shuizid decimate tower is probably one of the worst towers in the game, even upgraded for dmg or for spread, it will do nothing to help you out. A rock tower, specially with arcane upgrade is way more usefull.
@@acfefo9880 yeah I was using poison sprinkler, arcane tower, and sniper tower. That easily blaster through any level so long as you got the correct upgrades and a couple decent relics.
the buff tiles effect depends on the size of the tower on it. The buff is divided by the number of tiles the tower takes up. So a 2x2 tower only gets a 25% buff on a single buff tile
Unfortunately the boosts don't stack, so the long piece would be overwriting the boost on the ground. I guess it would still be efficient piece usage though.
I love you bro and most of all, love watching you play all these awesome games. You just make any game enjoyable to watch no matter whatever it is boring or complicating.

Even though all I did was playtest, I feel extremely proud to be in the credits of this game. The dev is extremely kind and humble, and it's just such a breath of fresh air in the tower defense genre.
rce, i have a theory on why the creatures in dome keeper attack you when your dome lands it crushes 3 little creatures and this leaves the other species in vein in order to avenge, they attack you. in first place they wouldn't attack if you didn't kill them by landing on one of them by accident deep game devs really thought of why the creatures attack the dome. sad realization

It really bothers me he didnt move that 1x4 piece to the bottom right one tile so that the missile tower could sit on the corner and get both the speed and attack boost

fun fact: every tile is a tetraminoe, witch means it's a shape made out of four connected squares, the extra tiles thet they give you are pentominoes, wich are made of five squares instead
What if Tetris and TD games had a kid? This game. Also, i love that no matter what episode of the game is, like it could be Season 8, episode 10, and RCE will explain what everything does, so you'll alway know the game. Boosh the Like button and Pat to Paddy!
@@WJS774 Even if not its still better because the enemies don't all come always for the same route and move at different speeds. It allows also for faster upgrading because you dont need to build out multiple routes.

Poison really shines if you can get the decimate-tower or some relics.
I got it as well. I really figured poison would last but it seems like it just increases from 1 to 5 with each consecutive hit

The 'tetris pieces'' actually have a name: "Tetrominoes" (or "Tetromino" for singular)

Everyone coming along the same route is only a good thing if they come at different times, otherwise you just get overwhelmed.
Towers that deal AoE dmg are better when they are all grouped together rather than spread out.
