I purchased that TMNT NES yesterday not realizing it was part of this trade/video. Nice to hear the story behind it. Best retro store in NC….Hands down
A Samus statue?! That is amazing! I have a Metroid Prime 3 corruption standee from Gamestop that i have kept since 2007 complete with all the attachments and i would love that statue!
That moment at the 11:32 mark - that was unexpected and dare I say awesome? No - No I won’t say that. But sometimes you win a game and sometimes you lose a game. Scott is out here schooling people…
Straight up, this is all lies. Quit lying. You can take the most amazing collectibles to ANY place that buys them and you will get 20 to 25% of street value if it’s open, mint or not. If they are your “friends “, they’ll give you 30%. These people make these videos as if this is the way it is, but it’s not this way anywhere. Quit lying. Case in point - I have a super rare and collectible controller unopened and minty fresh that everyone agrees and with proven value - let’s say it cost $300 everywhere it can be found. I have a feeling if I brought it to a really cool games store like the one in this video - they would give under $70. That’s them being cool and a somewhat predictable outcome. Most places would give $30. FACTS! Now this may have all gone down like in the video, but I feel like the whole thing is a bit misleading. Because, if you were to believe this video, then you would think “Hey, my $300 controller will get me 70 - 75% value at this shop”. That’s at least over $200. But I’m fairly sure you will not get anywhere near $200 cash, credit or anything like that. Quit lying. It makes people think their stuff is worth more than it really is. Long live gaming.
Should we have passed on those boxed toys?

the blockbuster stickers are historical relics since the closing of the company
Great video. Really enjoy watching it. Keep it up.
If the serial numbers don't watch, I'm not paying a premium for a 3DS in the box lol
I have that Varia Suit Samus Statue, and many other by First4Figures. Awesome statue!
They're great
That statue is awesome. If he was local to me I would have loved to have that in my game room.
This video is full of stuff you love to see!
@steviefreakinc thanks, and we love to see Heckin Steve videos.

Those standees are getting rare considering most stores disposed of them.
Good stuff Scott! I don't know much about toys, but some nice game pickups there.
Thanks for watching!

I'll take this a compliment. Thank you for making us feel very unique.
Sounds like you’ve been going to the wrong store! Scott & crew are awesome and pay very fair prices for stuff.
You must of never been to this store 😂😂😂
