Wow!! Reading must be an expensive hobby for you!! I know in Norway it's really expensive to buy books too, so (since I live in the Uk) a lot of Norwegians from the cruise ships buy books here instead.
I can relate so much. I just converted 80$ into euros and you know what? I could only buy like 3 hardcover books for that amount of money. We also have price fixing for books over here. It sucks!

I didn't own them- I read them all from the library-so I had to buy them all from Book Outlet a few months ago. Gabrielle Zevin is awesome! If you have not read The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry(also by her) I highly recommend that one!

I'm loving the new editing/graphic things you have had going on recently. I bought some books from the black friday sale and even though I limited myself to 25 dollars I still got six books all hardcover, so the overall consensus is that BookOutlet is hella rad. Plus we have matching scissors, i have the blue ones :)

I'm currently reading the third book in the Monument 14 series and, well, I love it. The writing is iffy at best, but the plot IS SO GOOD. It's apocalyptic and amazing.

Hey Katy! Loved the unboxing! I want to suggest that you read the kingkiller chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. ( The name of the wind, The wise man's fear ) The first two books are out, one more to be published. These are fantasy books. They are humorous, terrifying, and very believable! These books talk about a guy called Kvothe. So Kvothe is a very well known character and everybody keeps telling stories about his adventures, but all are exaggerated and mostly false. In these books we learn the actual story of Kvothe. Let me tell you one thing, the story is amazing. The writing is beautiful! It is detailed in a way that is very interesting and believable! They are honestly good books! I think you'll love 'em!

a couple weeks ago I went to a local book convention held over 4 days. On the last day you could get a box of books for 5 dollars. So I took advantage of that sale and got 45 books for 5 dollars. 5 DOLLARS. sure some of them were in not so good condition but most of the books are really good and somewhat popular and mostly all the books came from local libraries who are restocking so half the money went to the libraries and the other half went to shipping books to 3rd world countries.

Just realized how freaking expensive Norwegian bookshops are. Like hardcover books both in Norwegian and English are usually over 25 dollars, unless you're super lucky. Buying books online is cheaper, but unless you spend a certain amount, shipping costs a bit too.

I like your necklace. I'm confused with things this year. I've read that publishers are looking mostly for contemporary romance or new adult stories this year and that booktubers want to get away from reading young adult fantasy, but fantasy, adult young adult, or urban fantasy, paranormal romance is something I always love to read and write about, I find writing contemporary boring even though I have some ideas for it. What do you think? I see plenty of supernatural books in this book haul! lol

The Skychasers trilogy by Amy Kathleen Ryan is the perfect trilogy! You wont regret buying Glow and you will NEED Spark and Flame! It deserves so much more hype but nobody has heard of it!
Little Brother is a great book. One of my favorites. It's a realistic somewhat near future dystopian book. A sequel called Homeland was released two years ago I think. Also good but little brother was much better.
YOU NEED TO READ GLOW IMMEDIATELY. I have read the first two books of the series and they are amazing! I have been meaning to read the third one since it came out, but they pull me in. I finished both of them in less than a week.
I ordered a Night Film hardcover for $2.99 and Point of Retreat for $2.99 from the Barnes & Noble bargain section. I don't own Slammed, but why not take advantage of a sale when I already planned on reading the series? You should check out the bargain section.
