I don't like having half of a series paperback and the other hardcover like the Mortal Instruments right now (BUT I STILL LVE THEM!)Whenever I buy the first book of a series, if it's hardcover, it ENDS in hardcover. If it it is paperback, it ENDS in paperback! I can not stand looking at half of the series hardcover and the other half in paperback. If they are new releases, I am going to have to wait until the paperbacks are available..........I know i'm weird, but that is how I am :D

I'm exactly like this. If I bought an HB first book, I'll buy it in HB for the rest. Since I'm a book collector as well, I love hardbound books. I only buy paperback if I am not very fond of that book but still wanna read it. 🌸

uuughgghghg im such a slow reader and there are so many books I want to read but I just cant get to them and my LA teacher is making us read certain books that aren't YA genre and I cant stand it cuz I really really need to read all the popular YA series yaaggghhh I need more tiiimmmeee........
I KNOW RIGHT??? I HATE it that teachers make us read INSANELY dull, complicated and slow books that no one really enjoys reading. They're completely squashing our love for books, instead of encouraging us to read more....
Ella Veljovich just follow Christine's advice by setting aside at least 20 minutes (she said an hour but if you don't have much time then 20 is fine) and read until you like it

i used to watch this vid all the time. my collection got so close to this. now, almost 10 years later, i can't even finish a book. adulthood sucks.
I highly recommend the Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking. It's such a fun read, the main character Wendy is so amazing, and I just love them! Now, if you're a lot like me and a very hardcore shipper of couples, you might get a bit frustrated with the second book. But in the third book, everything is worked out (not in the way you may think, but it's still awesome). They are fantasy books. The first is Switched, then Torn, and then Ascend. They are wonderful books, and judging by the books on your shelf, I really think you'd enjoy them :)

Somebody else is reading The Enemy series!! Yes! I love them- my favorite series ever! The fifth book is out this year so you may have some catching up to do but they get better with each book without a doubt.
The Maze runner was great and the rest of the series was pretty good but the kill order wasn't the best my fave in that series was The Death Cure

I think you would like Blue Bloods, Darkest Powers, and Darkness Rising, because you like paranormal books; I'm sure you get a lot of suggestions but these books I reallllly enjoyed!

Y'all need to read Lord of the Rings! It isn't a childrens book, so that's probably why it was hard for you at age ten, as well as it's really in depth. But it's worth it, and it really opens your eyes on how in-depth and imaginative a fantasy novel can go.

Lily Miller It's amazing, isn't it? I like the fact that a lot of beings (like hobbits, man, etc) don't have the ability to create magic but they live in the most spectacular and magical world...it really doesn't matter that they don't have magical powers because it all comes to them from nature and their surroundings. 10/10 for Tolkien.

The Mortal Instruments are like the best books I've ever read! My mom got them for me on christmas and I'm just so happy that she found this series!
I buy all mine in hardcover too lol. I usually give my paperbacks to a friend after that, it sometimes I just keep them.

the alchemyst is an amazing book and the Nicholas Flamel series is just perfect. there are a lot of characters so you have to pay attention but once you know who is who they are impossible to put down. i read the whole series in about a week. you truly need to read them.

The Alchemyst is the first book to The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series (there's like 6 books) it's an okay book that I've read not the best but the first book "explains" the world of Nicholas Flamel and how he's immortal. (I read this like 2-3 years ago so pardon if I don't some terms right) He meets these kids he thinks they are apart of a prophecy, so he gets to know them and starts to get them to know his world and stuff like that. If you like it then go on to the next one :)
Seriously you need to read Specials it's my favorite one of all three in the series by far. And if you're into vampires and supernatural stuff I'd definitely recommend the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz. It's my all-time favorite series with The Mortal Instruments coming in at a very close second. Love your videos btw :)
You have to read Silence!!!!!! Crescendo was a let down, but Silence is just amazing (and you have to read it to read Finale WHICH IS FREAKING PERFECT)
Try Leviathan by Scott Westerfield. It's absolutely amazing! The author wrote Uglies, but I know a lot of people enjoyed Leviathan more than Uglies. Anyway, the fandom is really small, but the series is amazing! It's a mix of historical fiction, steampunk, fantasy, action and romance, which made it so unique and awesome. The covers also look really cool. I really loved it, as much as Cassie's books or even better. I think you'd like it and I'd recommend it to anyone, because it's just so unique!

The Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness is one of my favorite books ever, it's really amazing.
The Black Jewels Trilogy is a must read and it's one of my favorite series!

The Incarceron series is definitely worth the read. True, it does take some getting used to, but once you do you won't be able to stop reading it! I recently finished it, and WOW! :)

I know what you mean about alyson noel's immortals series! And i totally agree with you about the Study series - top five best fantasy series ever. You should definitely give the rest of the Glass series a shot - they're worth it. She also has another two series (if you don't know): a dystopian series - Inside Out and Outside In (not bad) and another fantasy (pretty great): Touch of Power and Scent of Magic. I LOVED Graceling, and really enjoyed Fire, and liked Bitterblue.
Read them in order of publication.
City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, Clockwork Angel, City of Fallen Angels, Clockwork Prince and finally City of Lost Souls.
That's definitely the best way.
Because really the first TMI books were published then Clare started making TID then back and forth.
