  • This was another strange occurrence which this iguana pulled off. After checking a burrow which we did not find an iguana, it pops up 13 hours later. Seems like its burrow collapsed and she was able to dig her self out 13 hours later. These burrows may become problematic with time due to erosion which can cause structures to crack or collapse.
Female iguanas will breed during the months of January - April laying up to 70 eggs. This occurrence
can easily start an infestation around your property. Once the eggs hatch, the baby iguanas will dig themselves out and will begin to eat plants around your home.
It’s recommended to remove iguanas around your proeprty to avoid situations such as this one. By monitoring iguana behavior, you can ultimately avoid infestations and damages to your proeprty. If you have iguanas and need them controlled, contact us.
