Sounds great buddy. Yes, my interests are varied but that’s what keeps me going. I’m not retired and my third year. Take care Joe.

It's been a few months... I'm curious what you think now? I really like the form factor, but can't seem to find and direct comparison to the Oneida cyclone style units, as far as dust separation efficiency... I would think the better cyclone models do better, but by how much?
I've seen comparisons to the duststopper etc, but not to the dust deputy 2.5 or pro models as far as overall effectiveness. Any insight on that?

OK, you asked some outstanding questions. No, no doubt. First of all the Ford factor is great. It’s so much more compact. I haven’t done a comparison to the standard dust Deputy or other separators but it’s working very well. Minimal dust gets into the main vacuum source. Consider subscribing. I’m gonna try to do a comparison to the standard dust deputy in the future. Take care. Joe.

@@JosephHunstad Thanks Joe for the reply, and I'd love to see the comparison if you do one :)
I'll give a subscription a shot - you have a variety of interests, a few of which I share, many I don't, but I'll try it out for a while at least :)

are you supposed to put water in the bucket?

Your question was are you supposed to put water in the bucket. The answer is no, water is not necessary for this to be highly effective. As a matter fact water would just combine with the dust and probably create a serious mold problem inside that bucket that would be unpleasant to say the least. I keep water out of it if it all possible. Consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.
