That part on the roller coaster at about 15:40 ish was so hilarious to me!🤣 Between Johnny’s shock when he jumped and it left him behind, to Eliot’s raging cries of “why? why?!” when it flung them all off and killed them🤣
I mean, to be fair to sonic team they do do this, it’s just that the mentality only extents to no more than 3 games. Adventure 2, colors and generations are proof of it, so unless the game is an exclusive they can deliver on a good sequel. And the boss fights take too long. Yes I'm still complaining about that

So to basically explain what happened in sky temple with the audio, For some _asinine reason_ the music layers in multiplayer so when Johnny used the bullet burst ability... he basically broke the audio 25:17 that is specifically a spring that catches you if the batteries die in your controller
That shadow glitch happened to me recently my friend and I were playing the Fruit Lagoon Eggman boss battle and after I drowned as Sonic my friend noticed I kept getting the drowning music despite Sonic already being drowned and when it hit the climax Sonic respawned drowned again and repeated it till the fight was over
The coaster right before it explodes sounds like a sound clip from Sonic Riders. But yeah, they really should have followed the Mario Wonder camera idea or have split screens at least. But sheesh that multiplayer. Sonic is all about going fast what were they thinking? The emerald clone power made most of the boss fights slightly tolerable until you get hit

I think 4:23 perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with Sonic Superstars. I know Mario 3D World also kinda suffered from a drunk camera but that game's camera looks perfect compared to this mess lmao.
I like the boss in Lagoon City as a boss, because it is more interesting as a boss than Labyrinth Zone, but I'd honestly would rather play the Labyrinth Zone boss because it's quicker.
The worst part about this multi-player is that it should be obvious how terribly the same screen multi-player works with Sonic. This kind of thing only works with games where the focus should be working together, Sonic multi-player by virtue of the core appeal of its gameplay should be competitive. Having players race to see who get to the goal the fastest. Sonic multi-player only works when its splitscreen.
How can Sonic be so consistent? Every game has some qualities that are genuinely really good. And then on top of that has qualities that are really really bad. I just don't get how Sonic Team can be so consistently good and bad at the same time.
I thouth no game would do a more chaotic and bad 4 player co-op than NSMB but Sonic Team outdid thenselves, good on then cant wait for a mod that fixes this (either by giving a better zoom out or spliting cameras)
It's not just in multiplayer. If you play in single player and switch to the superform by the time you get to the boss, it'll proceed to play the act music

This game is a prime example of why multiplayer should NOT be your main priority when making a game, especially when you don't know how to make it work. Games should be a single player experience first and foremost.

I really hope they have a patch that simply pulls the camera back in single player. Refuse to believe that is a difficult thing to fix. Another extremely simple fix to make for multiplayer, have the camera perma-lock on the lead player. It won't fix all the issues with multiplayer entirely, but that is a bare minimum fix that will make it tolerable to play.
If you guys all used the avatar power at the same time I feel the boss fights would go even faster. You’d be sending what? 16 Sonic clones at a boss if not more and each one is a hit on contact? I’m just saying it would be funny and possible in theory
