I really wish they had recorded a proper soundtrack for this recording. Mainly for this song, as I can't really get into the one from the Cast Recording, it's so different.
In the cgi only mungojerrie can keep a cockney accent and rumpleteaser was more American and cockney one minute she's cockney one minute she's American
Sarah Smeltser watch it like 10 times a day I learned the dance by heart. I just can’t perform it good because I’m not flexible. And I don’t know how to do that to person flip.
Owl Lover actually, in the original they were a girl and a boy. In the poem that is. And in the original London version, they were portrayed to be a couple, but now I believe more people make them out to be siblings since they look so alike
@@jul001 Actually the original Cats website introduced them as twins - Jerrie being the elder male twin and Teazer being the younger female twin. Both had identical markings, hence the owners getting mixed up and confused.
ah alright. I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed but that does make sense- I don't think Bonnie Langford was ever recorded. I just know she did it and since she acted in Classic Who Im kinda curious about it@@lyricsmaster8580
@@DavidMChannel There is an old version of them. It's just recorded in a bad theater. Imho, the London version (original) is better. I frigging love them!
@@limesquared Oh I know. Im just a massive classic doctor who fan and so Im curious about the bonnie Langford one lol. she played a companion on the program.
They deserve their own show
I'd watch it
I will totally watch it!!!
I would watch it
Y'know, the lyrics for these songs were derived from an anthology of poems... and god almighty, does it ever show.
Old possums book of practical cats by T s Elliot (of all people)

Maybe we can get a decent soundtrack when the movie comes out 😭❤️

Yeah, I at least wish this version was on Spotify, it fits two of my ocs so well and I wanted to add it to a playlist I have for them.
@@CamrynMcKnight0 nope nope nope... Definitely, no

god i imagine their humans find them so annoying but love them anyway 😂
They're strays, and like half the show focuses on them not trusting or liking humans
@@vertoatrumwell that’s a straight up lie
My favorite choreography in the show.
Anyone else hyped for the movie?
DreamShop umm I’m hyped but ta the same time I’m not sure because it does look pretty creepy tbh lol
Are they going to have this in the new movie?!
It’s amazing 😉
yeah I wouldn't be that much, They ruined it!! The composers ruined the songs! All of them!!
Well it's actually not that bad, lol,

Mungojerrie and rumpleteazer the original thief icons
this song is kinda bangin tho
im doing this show and I'm mungo even though im a girl
Gaby1234 yeah but I think in the original both cats were boys. It doesn’t typically specify the gender of either just that there twins

Where can I find the remote part of the performance?
In the 98 year video, only half the song.
I’m rumpleteazer

Is that Bonnie Langford as Rumpleteezer?
No, this is the 1998 version, therefore it's Jo Gibb
