    i was there unfortunately. on the beach, and in the water. one of the furthest people out there. trust me y’all it felt like a movie. the sherif was running on the beach screaming get out of the water. it was the most scariest feeling in my life and it changed my perspective and life. • @jc_hills1540
      @jc_hills1540 Месяц назад +3

      Clearly they’re still misunderstood, judging by your comment💀. Just don’t panic or act like prey when u see a shark, cuz that triggers their predator instincts. They use there mouths to feel objects/creatures that they’re curious about. So once you start splashing, panicking, they’re gonna investigate you. You can also redirect a shark if they swim towards u. And these attacks could’ve been avoided if people were aware that sharks are nearby and know how to deal with one when they encounter it

    I vacation a lot in south carolina, lots of sharks there but not many attacks, sharks are very smart, they will hang out at the fishing piers looking for handouts one day I cleaned a fish and threw the rest over, a 7 foot tiger shark was out of the water before it hit the water, I always have a knife strapped to my leg when I go swimming, they will come and give you a test bump or a small bite before attacking, if that happens go for those cold eyes they will go away, if not at least it is blind gives you a chance to get away

    Why cant we drop nets with alarms forty feet off shore? Hire a few marine college graduates each summer to watch the nets so sharks and irher large fish do mot stay caught in them when they do. Can help with research and tagging.
    And keep swimmers safe.
    40 feet from low tide should be enough beach space for swimmers.
    They drag nets for the pastics which is awesome. They got a ship to drop and pull the nets. So why not for the beaches? Drop them out at 6 am and pull them at dusk. The hours if the lifeguards.

    I have seen vacationers make mistakes by not thinking..look around before going in the ocean..Do you see anyone else in the water and if so are there many or just a few..also take off any jewelry you have including ear rings and bracelets etc..Even wearing fancy swim suites with glitter can bring danger..Don't make yourself a target..Certain times for example early mornings there are areas where jelly fish will come through getting their feed and each species has a predator..Ask the locals if your not sure..They usually know..The Ocean is home to some strange wonderful and massive creatures..Its their home not ours..
