Remember that BetterHelp sells your health data to outside companies
pewdiepie talked about it years ago, but i feel like the messages are not going that far, I wish people acknowledge it more
it would be pretty hard for them to exist without doing something like that. Like to have the options to scroll online therapists and choose one like its a dating app, then after one meeting say, nah,, not for me and flick to the next one, all while only paying a subscription fee.. They need to pay all these consultants, and if there was a pattern of people just having one consultation then flicking to the next and the next over and over (because one is rare for the therapist to break any real ground) it would become frustrating and many professionals would likely leave the program. Which makes me think.. Are these professionals reputable, or more just starting out in the field?
As for health data, if it's anonymous, it's just data. If it's not anonymous, that's health RECORDS, which should 100% be confidential.
Well, it's not as if I ever intend on buying a sponsored product from any content creator.
You mean like every single company on the planet ?
and your therapist might be an AI voice.
I absolutely love how almost all of Guga's "side dishes" could easily be an entire meal on their own
It's a good thing Guga doesn't work for NASA. They'd be trying to land on the moon, he'd go to Mars as a side dish.
Yeah…they almost always have meat themselves! Now that’s my kind of side dish!
I send my mom the videos because the side dish is usually something she can make, and you’re right, it’s a whole meal lol
and don't forget its incredibly easy so anyone can do it at home
A side dish doesn't just need to be for 1 person. Pretty sure he's talking about family cooking or a barbeque kind of side dish.
I remember when I had Sunday lunch at my grans maybe 16 years ago now as a kid, the side dishes she'd make were practically full meals. Then again, she was cooking for a whole family, not just a few people. I've probably misinterpreted what you meant, but still feel like it's worth pointing out in a world now filled with convenience. :P
Guga’s Chocolate Chip Cookies:
-a good amount of flour
-a good amount of eggs
-a good amount of salt
-a good amount of vanilla
-a good amount of choc chips
Etc.
my dumbass thought he cooked the chicken with coke as oil🤣😂
Theres a Mexican recipes for that, its called "pollo a la Coca-Cola" search it up
Lol me too that's why I clicked on the video
This is inception level clickbait and I love it.
You are not the only one homie. I thought the same thing.
Me too mahh niggas 😂😂😂😂
It's an old recipe here in the Philippines but duck was used instead. Coke, liver spread, salt, pepper and bay leaf cook until the coke thickens and the duck tenders.
My mother and my grandma use sprite on "pinaupong manok" ( idk the equivalent foreign name)
They use coca cola on Mexican carnitas
@@andreitaker3527 its been awhile but I believe its "sitting chicken". Traditionally would be cooked sitting in its own juices with some variations adding spirte or coke to the pan as it cooked.
my father placed a coke can, opened, into the cavity of a chicken (upright, so not to spill out) in his smoker bbq, the coke I guess boiled and steamed into the cavity, giving it some flavour. it was not sweet, but gave a different flavour. I assume the sugar mostly caramelized in the can, and there was some smoke flavour. He liked to experiment, but tbh, idk about how safe cooking printed aluminum cans is inside you food for hours. lol
@oynlengeymer2434 not safe at all, I hope you didn't eat much of it! Though it was probably tasty 😅
For deep fry batter, use 7Up or Sprite.
For grilling marinade or glaze with soy sauce as a base, use cola. Coke or Pepsi or whatever - up to you. Heck, use Dr Pepper Cherry for grilled pork belly.
Yeah that's what I thought too
A man of culture I see... Ham fat glazed in the oven with coke or dr pepper is amazing.
And A&W rootbeer is perfect for pulled pork!
Guga not lying "if you think it is it just becomes". I think I'm Superman and I haven't broken a bone or got sick my entire life
And i'm Batman 😛

Better help is almost as bad as that knife company that was all over RUclips a few years ago. Every RUclipsr is pushing them but they are just knock offs. I like the disclaimer on Better Help “our counsellors may not have a degree in psychology”
A degree is meaning less, someone can read 20x more articles, 20x more experience in the field but because they paid 1000s for a sheet of paper while partying for 3 years, they’re suddenly better?
@@Jaks4x imposter alert... call his boss hes crying
@@Jaks4x or someone could just be a dude working in mcdonalds that never read anything, a degree doesn't mean you're good, it means that you at least done something in the field, you would want that extra layer of the person being at least competent to get a degree
Guga. Ive been watching your videos for a little over a year now. I know this isnt a steak video, but i finally tried my first ever (50 day) Dry age steak today, after a year of you convincing me i should try it. Hands down the best steak I've ever had and this is going to be a monthly thing for me from now on. You gained a subscriber today. :)
Many cuisines use Coke as a marinade/sweet flavor ingredient component. Suggest to balance the inherent sugar sweetness of the Coke marinade w/ vinegar and strong aromatics like garlic, ginger & onions
Guga has such a relaxing voice. I always love the relaxation I feel when I hear his voice combined with the incredible food
I have come again to request the Wagyu Hot Dog

I don't normally comment on videos like this, I just eat food and enjoy them but this was a nice video, stay awesome guga, you're a blessing to this world.
I always love gugas "side dishes", which are the entire meal for most people

For your side dish, this is popular here in Minnesota, we call it Tater Tot Hotdish. Pro tip - bake the tots before you put them on top, then bake again. Then the underside of the tots will remain crispy 👍
Hibbing Minnesota here
@@jaytracks nice town, been there a few times
I mean, my familys tater tot hotdish is just frozen vegetables, peas, corn and carrots is what I seem to remember, thrown in and browned with meat, then mixed with cream of mushroom soup, the tatertots on top
@@danielhall6578 that's pretty much how we make it as well. Tots have to stay crispy though, that was the point of my comment.
For tater tot hot dish he is missing cream of mushroom soup. It goes in everything midwest!!! Lino Lakes, MN
Please drop the better help sponsorship. You're not that cash hungry.
Because ppl seeking help is so horrible...
For context, in the past:
- they sold very sensitive personal infos to advertisement companies, infos like the type of disorders, customers got med ads.
- They had (have?) fake reviews on the front page
- Their TOS mentions that they are not a replacement of actual therapists, which is the contrary of what they claim they are. Basically if you need help, visit an actual therapist.
- etc.
There are many videos talking about their scummy behaviours, it's impossible to list all of them in a single comment.

Guga, wanted to find out, do you have a cook book for all the side dishes you’ve made over time? I’d love to make them at some point.
Agreed, I know some are in his released book, but we need a book of all the side dishes by themselves
I love Guga’s pronunciation of oven. Reminds me of visiting my dad’s side of the family.
Guga wanted to let you know that you taking the better help sponsorship is an absolute diabolical tragedy since better help pretty much has already been exposed for being fraudulent in the past

If you think online therapy is a good idea, you need therapy.
What an incredible recipe! I love how you've turned Coca-Cola chicken into an irresistible treat. The combination of flavors must be phenomenal. Congratulations on sharing this delicious idea!
Guga, love it thank you and the team. My Dad makes the best ham at Christmas, he soaks it in coke overnight, then after rinsing, he cooks it in Dry Ginger Ale, it for me is the best!! ❤❤🙏🙏 PP: I am from England/Cyprus
Soda water vs normal water even makes a difference I'm pretty sure. Cool experiment but the high fructose corn syrup doesn't caramelize like cane sugar perhaps worth a revisit with Mexican/ natural coke.
the pairing knife you are using, for christmas my mom got if for me, its amazing and I love it
You remove the wing tips? We cannot be friends...
Guga. I had fried chicken battered with some kind of XO sauce or Brandy over twenty years ago.
Any chance you can try that? Waiting on your reactions.
great video, I wish he add buttermilk into the line up
I love these experiments! It gets me thinking about variations, like; what other soda might work in place of the Coke? My next thought was that the Coca-Cola batter might be a fantastic base for Nashville hot chicken to lend a little sweetness. (Or... if you want to be really "out there," use grape soda and then dip in a Thai peanut sauce for PB&J chicken.) Ok, I'm done for now.
Orange crush to make orange chicken perhaps 🤔🤔
Guga all your actual supporters are here for you
Can you please do the same experiment again but use different types of beverages and sodas for the batters.
i enjoyed the experiment quite a lot!
I thought Guga would do the buttermilk and pickle juice type of chicken batter. Maybe another time.
Guga, I speak for myself and many here would agree, you have to redo the Coke. Try regular coke(high fructose corn syrup) and Mexican Coke(sugar cane). I feel the results will be VERY different.
why not add diet coke as well while at it ?
@@daemok4752and then Coke Zero 😅
I mean, just like there's a TON of different beer types, will probably be different as well
Sugary coke, no thanks. Fake-tasting sweeteners... Even more so.
Sigh.
WAIT huh you guys use sugar cane in your coke!? No wonder it tastes good!
Hi!!! I liked your recipes for today. Looks really delish. Im going to give them a try...YUMS!!! Thanks for these recipes... I will go for the Cola one...Great Video!!!...🦋
Very cool that I can do all your recipes in about 10 minutes. Awesome m8.
Depending on your broiler, you may not need to let it broil for 5 minutes. For whatever reason, my broiler is like a nuclear reactor and melts everything in about 1-2 minutes. I think it's best to keep a close eye on your food whenever you use the broiler because mine always seems to burn things super quick.
Is yours an electric or gas broiler?
@@nigelis2345 electric
VERY interesting! 🤔 I wonder, if you mixed in some soy sauce and brown sugar…..if you’d get a dry, crispy teriyaki fried chicken. 😋 I’m gonna have to try that one. I figured the coke alone would be pretty sweet, so I wasn’t surprised when y’all have the review. Buuuut, the right ingredients and again, crispy teriyaki me thinks. 🫠🙃
thanks guga now i'm starving!!!! remember to leave a towel on hot handles
I made this today with the beer batter and the side dish. Absolutely delicious!
Nooooo.... you sold out to "BetterSellOurClientsInfoHelp"
Here in Austria we don't use liquid for the batter of the famous Wiener Schnitzel. It's just flour, egg and bread crumbs.
What do you mean XD as if every single australian makes fried chicken with regular breadcrumbs. I've been making my fried chicken using a wet batter with soda water for years and it's top tier.
@@DarkToleSon I will try that. Some use buttermilk.
@@DarkToleSonyou know he said Austrian and you said Australian? Not sure if you talk on the same side of the earth there ;) He also specified with Wiener Schnitzel.
Tbf, egg technically counts as a liquid ;D
Still, a Wiener Schnitzel geht imma :D

A weekend in Gugas house can change my life ❤😢
Colombia also does this. I remember I saw the mom pour Coca-Cola into the big soup pot with the chicken and was absolutely flabbergasted and confused... but it was delicious.

Well Well Well what do we have here
that's why I clicked too.
We’ve all touched a hot frying pan at some point in our lives…. Sadly I’ve touched one while trying to take it out of the oven without an oven mitt 😂
I worked with a chef that could take stuff out of the oven with bare hands. I watched him stick his fingers in oil at 375° and never got burned. Not exactly sure how you build up to that but I know he cooked from a young age before he moved here
@@Justmebeingme37 He must have mozzarella sticks for fingers, jeez. That and neural damage
@@Justmebeingme37 I worked in a restaurant kitchen years ago, I've also seen a few ppl who would stick their fingers in hot oil in order to know if it's hot enough to deep fry fish, seafood and potatos. Your skin just get's thicker, plus you develop pain tolerance since you get burned, cut, smashed, pierced, etc. all the time lol
I gotta tell you guga, you had me spooked with the title there for a second! xD
I am more excited for the side dishes half the time than the last experiment. So yummy 😋
The Coca Cola looked so good tho
9:55 The way he said "Coca Cola" 😂😂
Guga side dishes is always incredible.
My me time is watching your videos to calm me down from a work day.
@Guga Foods
Use a champagne batter ore Mexican Coca-Cola and more herbs and salt ore sparkling water batter and let the chicken marinade for min. 24hours in the herbs and let your chicken dry out before and after you put it in de batter for at least 2 hours at room temperature before frying and if fry with the skin on poor hot water over the skin you will get very crispy skin ore take it off and marinade it and fry it separately

You’d probably need to add some more spice to the Coca Cola batter.
I love this Guga!
Guga made tator tot hot dish or casserole depending on whether you from IA, NE, WI, MN it’s a meal staple in the north back in the day
Buttermilk vs beer vs both? Types of beer?…
I'm curious about Guinness vs. Regular beer.
The side dish ''OMG'' so good
THX GUGA !!
hold up Guga which type of coke?👀
Deyumn! Leo's tongue is so sensitive he can tell the beer batter had some fermentation in it. He is born to be an actual food critic! Also, that beer batter was so unexpected, would definitely try it in the future.
You should try every flavor of White Claw as a water replacement for batter!!
You should try Mexican coke vs high fructose corn syrup coke because sugar vs high fructose corn syrup can change the caramelization flavors.
Guga, I've been using Spicy Chili Crisp in my beef jerky marinade. How would you approach the task of making a jerky??
The side dish is our favorite part! Excellent video!
To get the best out of beer batter, use an unfiltered beer (a cloudy ale perhaps) so it has the yeast, and leave it sit a while for the yeast to work on the starches in the flour. Possibly better for fish fillets than on chicken because it becomes more light and delicate
Shepherds pie is made with mince lamb..
Cottage pie is made with mixed beef..
But I understand your point.. 😊😊
Shepherds pie is made with whatever the shepherds got at the time 🤣
With Guga the first ingredient is usually butter.
Always enjoy these videos! Predictable! Nothing like a beer battered fish and chips :) Has to be the same with chicken!
My favorite part of these is when he says he has time to make the side dish. These tater tots take the whole damn night to make which is how you know they’re gonna be good. It’s way funnier in the dry age videos lol.
He says they are the ones you find in the frozen isle. He has made ones from scratch, but not these.
love your vids bro keep it up
Any proper measurements for the batter?
Angel and Leo are like the two sides of my brain lmao i love it.
Wing tips are the best part
Guga has anyone ever told you you look like Winnie the Pooh lol 🫶🏼
Guga, you need to mention when using tallow it changes the cook times! You can brown carbs in almost 40% less time with tallow vs with vegetable oil in my experience, seriously i was able to reduce my tater tot cook time from 5 minutes to 3 min 30s, and potstickers went from 5 to 3m flat, coming out more golden crispy in 3m than they used to in 5. I did chicken and it was a big difference as well, to the point I recommend mixing in some peanut oil to increase the cook time slightly (and it's cheaper lol), since the breading finishes before the chicken meat is cooked through on the bigger pieces when I use straight tallow. Maybe it's just that the pieces I was using were huge, but yea that's what happened the last time I used your recipe for crispy fried chicken.
6:52 Just inject some compaund butter (pparsley+garlic) inside chiken brest before depfrying. It solve all the issues.
Do you use butter to make a bitter batter better?
Anyone else thought he was battering the chicken in cocaine for a split second from the title? 😂
I often pan fry chicken wings in coke soy sauce and a little garlic. add coke last it comes out like sweet teriyaki sauce😊
God damn, I love your videos Guga, but you make me hungry man!!! It's nearly 1am and I could eat some fried chicken right now lol
Btw, love your cat licking its balls and cleaning itself in the back of your video. lol

I grew up in North Dakota and "Tator-tot Hotdish" was a frequent meal in our household that many generations cooked❤
also from north dakota... we made ours more on the savory side... can of cream of mushroom soup and a bag of frozen veggies 🤣 hey it was filling at least
I have to call out one thing. Using just any beer because it "doesn't matter" is not true. Different styles of beer will give it a different flavor. Sure, if you're using a regular Lager, you can use any brand and it won't matter. But there is 100% a difference if you switch from a Lager to a Stout, Belgian, High Hop, or any _different_ style of beer.
Use the nastiest, cheapest light colored beer like old Milwaukee or MGD etc... you're welcome.
alcohol is all worthless garbage, TV has fooled you
Ngl i would love to see guga do tons of experiments with chicken like how he does with steaks.
