Currently, the technology is still being developed across industries to be able to do this.
However, the workflow people are using is:
      - AI image generator
      - CAD specialist uses the image as reference, scanning key elements to include in the sculpture.
      - STL file created.
This still saves you a lot of time and money.
Aside from that, being able to take an AI image and automatically create a CAD will absolutely happen. Probably within the next 1-2 years.

@@jewelersadvantage thank you friend! do you think the cad designers art will have no vlaue then?

@@shmanasanas6445 No - there are way too many decisions to be made. The first thing is, CAD is an Art AND a Science. There are real Manufacturing and Financial outcomes tied to it - that require a Human decision maker.
If a CAD Specialist understands this, and Sales and the actual Business of Jewelry, they are going to be in the supreme power position in the Jewelry Industry, and be able to create an awesome business.
IF - however the CAD Specialist sees 3D CAD for Jewelry as their Art that they are paid to do, by a business owner - then absolutely. They will be replaced. No doubt about it.
They won't be replaced by AI. They will be beaten out by another CAD pro that has elevated their thinking and skills.

Wow AI technically is very clever and I'm impressed with it's generated images. So a facility is required to make the piece to complement a cut stone. I got into carving gem opal because I wanted to bring opal to life. I'd love to see a carved gem with AI generated design based on what the carving gave the AI to look at. Very interesting and a lot less than what I go through creating a carving from a piece of rough.

You can do that with our tool. Try this Prompt in the free AI tool at the link in the bio (Jewelers Advantage AI):
"Create a custom engraved cabochon {gemstone type}. The engraving is a depiction of {whatever you want}. Write the text prompt, then create the image."

With a blank cabochon of clean material without sandstone inclusion this is not a usual thing to carve away opal material that is so expensive. With other semi precious material yes. But with Australian opal you would be carving beautiful opal away for no reason and ct loss. My carvings are created after material loss by way of manual removal. Creating the imagined form from what is left after sandstone etc is gone and a unformed cleaned opal preform is in hand. I actually would like to see my carving come to life! In video Allso have it if animal climb into a setting that is AI generated. The octopus for instance into the wave or coral design setting that's been made to fit by AI. I'm using a phone but I'll get a computer to look up your link to learn more. I'm happy to share some images of one of my carved opals to try this with if you like. I'd really like to see how this could work. It's just an idea in mind can AI help me achieve this? Gem and design!

Yes - that's the point. You can see it IMMEDIATELY, and then decide if it's worth the labor or not. You get immediate feedback to see if something is worth pursuing.
