I have used this for 11 weeks. My blood sugar is now down to 100 from 250. The only side effect is occasional indigestion. Be sure to eat smaller meals as this medicine greatly slows your digestion time.

I also was spooked at giving myself this shot. For an entirely different reason I ended up 3 weeks in the hospital where they gave me a belly injection every day. It was nothing. Didn’t hurt at all. You’re not that sensitive there apparently.

How many weeks can you use one pen?

@@zuzia3557 Hi Zuz la. I use my pen for 4 weeks which is my prescription use and start over with my new pen when the next four weeks start. It is recommended to discard the one you have used prior. I noticed that there is a spiral crank inside the pen so you won't be able to get medicine from it after the four weeks. However, make sure you consult with your physician.
