Oh I wish they'd waited longer to tour again. He was so excited to go to the UK and tour, and he went there, caught the covid and died. How tragic. 😭 He is irreplaceable.
The way he talked about Tom Jones is how I talk about him . What a wonderful interview but heartbreaking that there won't be anymore. I miss him everyday .
What a tremendous loss to his family, friends, and music lovers the world over. He seemed like such a kind, polite, friendly, and relatable person.
He was discussing the future without realizing it! Wow. RIP, dear Carlos.
I am heartbroken. He was such a big loss, it seems his talent is irreplaceable. His demise is such a big shock. He was cheerful and healthy. Then suddenly, he just fell ill. Just unfair, so unfair. May he rest in peace.

What a super interview seeing Carlos still loving life in Il Divo and as enthusiastic and charming as ever. Thank you for sharing this video interview with him. It’s so sad that so soon after he is no longer with us. When he said that they finally said the guys could start performing again at the end of November, I screamed inside my head! If they hadn’t started back, he might well still be alive. It shows though, it doesn’t matter how careful you are, you don’t know what’s around the corner. Thank you for the very personal interview you have done with Carlos Marín. Magnificent Human Being, charismatic, simple, affable man, with a prodigious and irreplaceable Voice. His death still has me in shock. I don't speak English well, but it seemed to me that Carlos said: "One of us was sick, so we didn't act; it's the four of us who are Il Divo." I don't know what the Conjunto is going to do now but, if they are going to look for a substitute, it will not be successful because he is going to be compared to Carlos and no one can be compared to Carlos, he was unique and the Soul of Il Divo. Un ser muy sensible, muy especial el más simpático, sincero sencillo, con la mejor voz, humildemente creo el alma del grupo. No quiero juzgar ya que no conozco la interna, ni a los otros integrantes en forma personal pero Carlos emanaba bondad, profesionalismo, compromiso, carisma. Era un visionario y quizás eso generaba algún malestar. No se hay cositas sobre todo de un integrante que no me gustan. Il Divo make almost every song they cover sound better than the original and I have been repeat listening to many of their videos since hearing of Carlos' sad passing. It's hard to believe and heart-breaking that so soon after this recent interview where Carlos is looking forward to the upcoming UK tour that he is no longer with us. RIP Carlos. You made so many people happy with that beautiful baritone voice. God bless.

Yes , i was totally shocked and very upset..been watching II Divo for many years since they first appeared on PBS so long ago..and what a horrible shock for his dearest mom and fans .. but it makes one realize HOW VERY VERY SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS this virus really is..if only Carlos had gone to the hospital in the UK as soon as he felt ill..but he didn’t and realized what hed done…but too late after being placed in an induced coma ..as he explained to his ex wife..he knew how sick he really was..its sooo sooo horribly sad… RIP Carlos..you will be missed soo very much…and your wonderful Christmas songs this year…how delightful that would have been…

So many souls lost to this terrible disease worldwide....all important, all meaningful. When we hear of a beloved performing artist we are fans of, it's like, on some level, a good friend is gone. An obvious tragedy for his family and friends but to the group itself. When Carlos mentioned in this interview....one member missing due to illness and the performance on-going with the remaining three, that was a pensive, if not portentous, moment.

Such a shock to everyone. Of course each person's Covid related death is just as horrible, and all these families mourning, I think Carlos would have said. I am sure his band mates and family are devastated and it will take time for them to come to terms with this. I wish them lots of strength. I just heard he died of COVID! His last appearance was on December 6th, with the rest of his bandmates. After that, he went downhill and was put into an induced coma, which he never came out of. I'm so heartbroken! And before you preach....he *was* vaccinated! Rest in peace, Carlos. You will be missed by many.

he actually had only a single vaccine, Jansen. No booster. He had, however, suffered covid previous to the vaccine ...so probably Carlos Marin had some other pathological health problem which we do not know of. He then got covid again! Really sad.
incredible to see him here in this interview and now he is gone because of Covid, stopping suddenly his life and all his future plans, the voice he had was just wonderful beautiful this is hard to believe. Today he was going to be back in Madrid for his homenaje, we will always miss you Carlos!!!

Wow just watched this amazing interview, when Carlos said Il Divo is 4 people and the time one was off sick and they sung as 3 it wasn't the same because if there isn't 4 then it's not Il Divo. Such a shame he isn't with us, a great loss to the music world.

Poor Carlos not long after this great interview he was dead!! 😢 He was the heart and soul of ill divo! I don’t believe that they should carry on without Carlos. He himself said that if one was sick they didn’t do the show. They have carried on with another baritone! I don’t feel Carlos would’ve wanted this... I think they jumped the gun and Carlos would have been so upset that they could do this so soon after his sad passing. In my eyes Ill divo are not the same and I don’t watch the new format! This is the second time I've watched this interview. You did a wonderful job with the questions and letting Carlos finish his thoughts. It is heartbreaking to think this could very well be the last lengthy interview he did. But Carlos did the interview with such joy and openness, almost like a conversation among friends. I think that's what makes his loss so difficult. He was so personable, so approachable, and exuded such a joy for life. We can be thankful to have been graced by his presence and that he shared his magnificent voice and personality with us. Gracías, Carlos. RIP.

His charm, humour, sparkle in his eyes and his phenomenal voice made Carlos a "one off" All I wish is that the others in Il Divo do NOT try and replace Carlos with another Baratone. If they do, I for one will never listen to them again. He was/is an integral part of the group and always will be. 😢

Carlos no sólo era la voz ,el alma y la esencia de IL DIVO,todo él,era magia pura ,su manera de ser ,se ve q es un hombre sencillo, humilde,sencillo ,lleno de energía y vitalidad ,un gran gentleman,el hombre de la sonrisa cautivadora,picarona, mirada penetrante ,trabajador nato ... Yo recuerdo q siempre a sus fans nos decía q si queremos conseguir algo lo hagamos trabajando mucho ,con buena voluntad . Transmite tanta energía en esta entrevista,q cualquiera diría q poco tiempo después nos dejara. Era mi primer ídolo y será siempre el primero desde mi adolescencia y la suya , lo vi por primera vez en un musical,y allí ya me cautivó y enamoró ,no sólo por cantar tan espectacular si no porque transmitía todo cantando . Lo seguí hasta su final,debo decir q cada día lo extraño más y más, pero gracias a su legado sigue vivo en mi corazón y alma . Murió joven cómo muchas personas,pero ha dejado una gran huella. What stands out to me is when Carlos said (paraphrased), "One of us was ill, so we didn't perform. It's the 4 of us who are Il Divo." He's right, just like Led Zep. I have no idea what they're going to do. Find another Baritone, or dissolve the group? If they do find another Baritone, I feel sorry for him. He'll be compared to Carlos. That's what happened to the guy who replaced Steve Perry in Journey. It's human nature. It's going to be hard for the group and the fans! This whole thing is just awful!!

With Carlos's spirit and love for life I can totally see him wanting and wishing for the Men to continue. He would be smiling upon them and singing along from the sky 🥰. When they are ready, I hope they'll find the right person for the job. R.I.P. Carlos. You were one of a kind ❣️
