Wow- AMAZING Scott! I'm watching this again and again! 'I Love Lucy' has always had a very special place in my heart, Thank you so much for sharing this with us.~~~
Thank you for this, Scott! I still watch I Love Lucy reruns all the time, Lucy is one of my idols, so it was wonderful seeing where some of the magic happened. (And Desi did indeed have one of the greatest laughs ever.)
man you are blasting the other vloggers out of the water with this tour. I worked at Paramount in the early 2000's and never got a tour like this. Fantastic.
This is not Paramount. And this is pure shit. He just read shit from the brochure. These are just a couple of efing old old posers wanna bees. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When I was a kid I delivered stuff for the studios back in the 80s and got to hang out in all the lots all the time. That was before the big companies came in and started tearing everything out. So it was great seeing all the stuff from the past
I was born at the end of the 80s but as a young kid going into the 90s I would watch a lot of these old shows with my mother or grandparents loved them more than the kids shows that were on. And as a young kid I Love Lucy was always one of my favorites. Never missed an episode. Those old shows brought my family together and made so many memories over the years that I'll cherish forever. Greetings Scott thanks for covering this. Love your videos.
Scott- that was so amazing to see. Loved every moment. Thomas was so interesting to listen to. And so knowledgeable about everything there. Thank you this was great!!
What an amazing video and my wife and I enjoyed it very much. I wish they had tours like some of the other studios. I just did Warner Brothers Tour on my birthday in March.
SCOTT THIS WAS AMAZING !! ENJOYED THIS !! So Nice that this Historical Studio Site is STILL making Productions and not being Bulldozed ! Yes, I grew up LOVING LUCY she was an Amazing person ! Thomas Churchill is COOL nice to see his work !! THANK YOU, this is Great !! 😊
Hey Scott there is an episode in the bathroom. The Ricardo's and Mertz's were mad at each other and Fred turned of the water Rickey was in the shower and Lucy was washing her face in the basin. Full of soap and Ricky takes the towel.😂😂😂
That episode is titled "Breaking The Lease". There is another episode that has a short scene in the bathroom called "Bonus Bucks" where Ricky places the bonus buck in his pajama top then proceeds to go to the bathroom and take a shower. We see him hang his top on the back of the door. Later, Lucy, without knowledge that the buck is in the pajama top, sends the top to the cleaners ... hilarity ensues.
@SCOTTONTAPE this one was great Took us awhile, as we were all collectively stunned, that this wasnt a Walking Around A Graveyard Lazily After Perusing Wikipedia And Just Talking "
One room I remember on I Love Lucy was Lucy and Ricky’s bedroom. They couldn’t show a man and woman in bed on TV then so they had two twin beds. This was so informative. I watched all those shows back in the day. I loved the history of who, where, when and how. Such a special treat. ❤
Man we absolutely love "I love Lucy". When Holly was 3 or 4 we took her to Universal Studios and she had met the I Love Lucy character walking around the theme park. To this day, she still believes she met the real Lucille Ball,... i dont have the heart to tell her. But thanks for doing this video bro, i appreciate all that you do even though i never leave comments 😂. Oh and BTW it was Lucille Ball who had green lit Star Trek after she had divorced Desi along with another little show called " Mission Impossible" ok im out of breath Bye 👋
Scott, this was the most wonderful video to watch, and Thomas is just fascinating to listen to! I agree with him on remakes, I never go see them. I always feel like you can't get better than the original so why would I even want to see it again with a new generation of actors? The originals are classics and well enough should be left alone. What an iconic place this is and just about every show he mentioned, I grew up watching. How lucky you are to have experienced this in person! What a great guy Thomas seems to be. Those days of television were simply the best. Nothing elaborate, just good clean comedy that the whole family could watch and laugh for hours over it together. I just loved this video Scott, enough to watch it again and again!
Scott, Thank you and Thomas for sharing this with the rest of us. Loved Thomas doing the old "Ricky Ricardo" , Desi Arnes laugh. My gosh Lucy was beautiful, A total bombshell.

The only time they ever showed the bathroom in I love Lucy was the pilot episode after that? It's like the bathroom never existed😂 thanks Scott for a great video. Always been a huge fan of Lucille Ball. As you know we are close to Jamestown, New York from Toronto. I've been there a few times for the tours I'm sure you have as well
I’m so incredibly jealous of you! I would love to see this place. To this day Lucy is my all time favorite show. I grew up watching reruns whenever I could. Every summer I watched the show on Nic at Nite when they had the marathons on.
Wow, great stuff, Scott. I have to say this is one of my favorite all time videos from you and I've been watching you since before you had 5000 subscribers… LOL. I used to work in the television industry very briefly and it was great to see all of this......... thank you so much! One of the things I learned in college when I was doing radio and television production was that I love lucy was the very first show to set the standard for the three cameras in the studio for sitcoms. That was a major innovation that is still used today. Thank you very much!❤❤❤
