Sonic CD (Sega Mega CD | Switch) YTF Did Sega of America Replace the Japanese Music? | Origins Plus

Sega of America made a lot of weird decisions in the 1990s. The decision to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the North American 16-bit console wars may have started around the time Sega CD came out.
There are a slew of bad decisions from both sides of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding Sonic CD. Changing the soundtrack may have been one of the least forgivable ones.
Sonic CD is included on the Nintendo Switch cartridge for Sonic Origins Plus. I obtained the cart from the Maryland Library System.
