I love the fact that this young man is forging his own path and at the same time not afraid to honour his late father in his playing. He shows that in the solo in this song. I have much respect for this young man.

@@bobabooey4537 He's not wrong. NO ONE else plays like this, alive or dead! His father could NOT do ALL the things this kid Wolf can do. When he solo's, he sound like himself, with a little bit of Ed and Mark in there. Those are the two guitarists that have influenced him the most, so far.

What I love about this is how congruent everything is - coming full circle - the massive sound - the bold, solid band logo - the history with the father's "gravitas" - right down to the sturdy, intrepid young man taking on his destiny - it is what the sculptors call "Truth to Materials!"

I wasn't originally sold on the idea of Wolfgang starting his own musical career, thinking it was inevitable that he'd be riding his daddy's coattails, but I admit when I'm wrong, and in this case, I couldn't have been more wrong. What a talented multi-instrumentalist. And it couldn't have been easy, because I'm sure I wasn't the only guy that felt that way, especially those of us that grew up with Van Halen in the late 70s and 80s. He's the real deal and he's got a fan for life here.

Well after going to the show in San Antonio Tx to check out Mammoth, in my opinion there is nothing there. Sure he is his father's son and he can shred in brief moments. There was alot of sound coming off the stage only because there are two other guitarist playing. Bassist was solid. Drummer got down to business. For most of the set he had his head down in the kit and did a kick ass job. I was curious about this band. I wouldn't pay to see another show. My daughter who always always goes to shows with me said , Boring.!! Alter Bridge was not what i expected. Yes Tremonti is a talented guitarist. A two hour show that didnt even rattle me. But Seven Dust who played after Mammoth stole the show. Blew away Tremonti and Wolfie with their forty five min. Show. Just my honest opinion. It just wasn't their night.✌️
At this festival, both Mammoth and Alter Bridge played and both were phenomenal! Sorry to hear they weren’t to your liking on that night. Glad you enjoyed Sevendust, though and thanks for commenting! ✌🏼
