To make a very strong one just take a tic tac out of the box place it in between your finger tips and with a throwing motion throw it at your target it's virtually free and u can adjust your power just by how hard u throw it

Thank you I was trying to build a tic tac gun with popsicle sticks and they were just all bad and then I rolled across this and I had everything besides the medium clip which turns out you can use a large one too. But I made it easily and it works like a charm thank you this is a great tutorial

I managed to make mine semi auto. Basically mad it so that the opening of the tic tac box fit in with a cutout of the high lighter so that the box basically became a gravity fed magazine. It jams occasionally but works well otherwise. Also, it required less parts, just a wood pencil, high lighter, tic tack box, metal tape and about three of the same elastics as seen in this video. Even if a tic tac does not feed correctly, it still fires because the thing has so much power, obliterating the tic tac, effectively becoming a shotgun firing tic tac buckshot. So much power in fact that it just about doubles the distance of some of the best nerf guns. It also actually hurts when you get hit by it. The only reason I could not get it farther was for the lack of kinetic energy as the tic tac is so light. But because of its small size and high speed, it is like being hit by a nail gun even at max range. I also achieved amazing accuracy (for a tic tac) by using a high lighter that fits the tic tac and dowel (yes I called it a pencil but I used a dowel. A pencil could be a more achievable alternative) perfectly, bringing down the amount of windage inside the barrel.

Just use an empty toilet paper roll, a balloon with the top cut off, tape and dry peas. Cheap, powerful and accurate. These were what we used when we were young.

I took your idea and made a formula to create a Gobstopper version of it. It's a bit slower than the Tic Tac but is larger.
